Hit: Pen & Ink to Spotlight the Art of Vanesa R. Del Rey

Award-winning publisher BOOM! Studios has announced the October debut of the newest comic to join the Pen & Ink program, Hit: Pen & Ink. Following the first two Pen & Ink books that focused on the art of Brian Stelfreeze and Humberto Ramos, this oversized book collects issues #1-2 of the Hit miniseries, presenting Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award-nominated Vanesa R. Del Rey’s original linework at the true artboard dimensions of 11” x 17”, complete with creative, behind-the-scenes commentary from both Del Rey and creator and writer Bryce Carlson. This edition takes a closer look at her timeless, haunting artwork on Hit, her comics debut.
