Cincinnati Gets A Superhero
Like the comic book Kick-Ass, real life individuals are donning tights and keeping our city streets safe. Cincinnati has a new protector of it’s streets, Shadow Hare. We’re serious. A 21 year old man from Milford is stalking the streets making the city safe from the what we assume is the scourge of jay-walking, and littering.
Shadow Hare isn’t new to the superhero game having previous stints in other states and even being part of a crime fighting group. According to WLWT:
Shadowhare is not alone in his quest to fight crime. He heads up a group of men — and one woman — called the “Allegiance of Heroes.” The members communicate with each other in online forums. Among the members are Aclyptico in Pennsylvania, Wall Creeper in Colorado and Master Legend in Florida.
“I’ve even teamed up with Mr. Extreme in California — San Diego — and we were trying to track down a rapist,” said Shadowhare.
I’m glad our constumed crime fighters are keeping the rough cities safe. And of course in this age you can check out Shadowhare’s MySpace page. I’m thinking we’re going to have to make this a regular series.
