In celebration of the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters, IDW Publishing will release a different Ghostbusters comic weekly in April, each focusing on a different team, including the original “Prime” team from the classic film, the Real Ghostbusters of 1980s cartoon fame, the all-female team that “Answered the Call” in 2016, and the next generation of Extreme Ghostbusters!

While I still love the art of illustrator Serg Acuña and think it’s a perfect fit for the action of the WWE comics, the moments where Tim Lattie steps in pull me out of the action with the slight style dissonance. Though Doug Garbark’s color work goes a long way to prevent that, it’s still there for me.
After making their cinematic debut this summer, the latest iteration of Ghostbusters will now answer a new call in 2017, appearing for the first time alongside the original Ghostbusters in — Ghostbusters 101: a new comic book series launching in March 2017.
