Longtime favorite DC storytellers team up with acclaimed new voices in a celebration of the Amazon Princess Diana as the publisher revealed details today for Wonder Woman #750, scheduled to hit comic book stores and participating online retailers on January 22, 2020.

Wonder Woman #750 is a 96-page tribute to one of pop culture’s most enduring heroes, containing stories from writers such as legendary Wonder Woman writers Greg Rucka and Gail Simone, as well as fan-favorite scribes Vita Ayala, Marguerite Bennett, Jeff Loveness, and current Wonder Woman writer Steve Orlando. They’ll be joined by a variety of new WW storytellers, including Kami Garcia (Teen Titans: Raven, Joker/Harley: Criminal Sanity), Shannon and Dean Hale (the upcoming Diana: Princess of the Amazons), and Mariko Tamaki (Supergirl: Being Super, Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass).

Featuring a stunning cover from Catwoman writer/artist Joëlle Jones, artists include Colleen Doran, Jesus Merino, Wonder Woman Rebirth’s Nicola Scott, Elena Casagrade, and Gabriel Picolo, with more artist announcements to follow.

Teen Titans: Raven Gets a Third Printing

DC has announced that Teen Titans: Raven, the fan-favorite young adult graphic novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Kami Garcia and popular Instagram artist Gabriel Picolo, will go back to press for a third printing. 

Originally released on July 2, the book will go to print for the third time following high demand from readers and rave reviews from critics! Garcia and Picolo recently wrapped a 5-city book tour that ended at San Diego Comic-Con, selling out of copies in multiple locations.

Teen Titans: Raven is the debut graphic novel from Garcia and Picolo, and the first installment of a multi-part series that follows the coming-of-age journey of 17-year-old Rachel Roth. DC has announced that Teen Titans: Raven, the smash-hit young adult graphic novel by New York Times best-selling author Kami Garcia and superstar artist Gabriel Picolo is headed back to press for a second printing.

The second printing news comes after the book’s first week of sales catapulted Teen Titans: Raven to the #48 spot on USA Today’s Best-Selling Books list and became the #4 bestselling book on Publishers Weekly‘s Children’s Frontlist Fiction list. ALA 2019: DC Reveals a Massive Slate of Graphic Novels Geared Towards Young Adults and Middle Grade Readers Releasing Through 2021

The 2019 convention for the American Library Association (ALA) kicked off with huge news that DC was consolidating its line under three “brands.” That left many to wonder about the future of the DC Zoom and DC Ink graphic novel lines. Launched last year, the new graphic novel imprints were focused on the young adult and middle grade readers and have been hits so far. DC followed up those concerns with an announcement of a slate of graphic novel releases aimed at those young adult and middle grade readers.

These graphic novels continue the focus on stories not part of DC’s ongoing continuity making them accessible to new fans. The releases also focus on the original mandate of YA titles being about “everyday aspirations, struggles, and triumphs,” while the middle grade releases being focused on stories about “friends, family, and growing up.”

During the DC/DC Black Label panel at BookCon today in New York, DC announced a new comic book series from their DC Black Label imprint, Joker/Harley: Criminal Sanity, written by #1 New York Times and internationally bestselling author Kami Garcia and artists Mike Mayhew and Mico Suayan.

The nine-issue psychological thriller follows Harley Quinn, the young and brilliant forensic psychiatrist and profiler consulting for the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD), as she pursues a vicious killer terrorizing the city. She has no idea the investigation will bring her face-to-face with the most notorious serial killer in Gotham’s history—the Joker. The series will debut October 2, 2019.
