Exclusive – Crowdfunding Corner: Zac Atkinson’s Calvin & Hobbes variant tribute cover for The Omega Eleven #1 revealed!

Monstrous Books has announced a Kickstarter campaign for The Omega Eleven #1, the first in an epic five-issue comic book series from Bram Stoker winner James Aquilone and acclaimed artist Zac Atkinson. We have an exclusive look at Atkinson’s variant cover which is a tribute to the classic Calvin & Hobbes.

The five-issue series will follow time traveler Doctor Omega as he gathers history’s greatest thieves to pull off an impossible heist and save the Omniverse.

The Omega Eleven #1 – The Merlin Job follows Doctor Omega, the character who inspired Doctor Who, and his companion, 14-year-old Jack Dawkins, aka The Artful Dodger, as they travel to Camelot to steal the Philosopher’s Stone from Merlin.

The first issue of The Omega Eleven will be available through Kickstarter, along with the second issue of the horror comic magazine Monstrous.

The Omega Eleven features covers by Zac Atkinson, J.K. Woodward, and Dave Acosta.

This February it isn’t quite love in the air, but a horror rendezvous for the ages when Elvira officially comes face to face with the legendary H.P. Lovecraft in Elvira Meets H.P. Lovecraft!

Maestro scribe of the Mistress of the Dark, David Avallone, continues his epic chronicles of the beloved horror hostess with the most-est. In her critically acclaimed and fan pleasing comic books from Dynamite, Elvira has crossed paths with the likes of Mary Shelley, Edgar Allen Poe, Bram Stoker, and even recently fellow horror screen icon Vincent Price. Now she finds herself haunted by the ghost of one of the most influential and infamous horror visionaries ever. It had to happen eventually, and H.P. Lovecraft is joining the Elvira-verse!
