DSTLRY’s You Won’t Feel a Thing #1 by Scott Snyder and Jock sells out

DSTLRY has announced that the first printing of You Won’t Feel a Thing #1 by Scott Snyder and Jock has completely sold out at the distribution level. Following unprecedented demand for the harrowing murder mystery, this sell out cements You Won’t Feel a Thing’s massive debut.

In response to the overwhelming sellout, DSTLRY is rushing back to the press for a second printing of You Won’t Feel a Thing #1. This new cover features Jock’s haunting art of the book’s singular villain—the Chatter Man. This new cover will be available in comic book shops on February 12, 2025. 

You Won’t Feel a Thing follows John Reader, a former detective trapped in a retirement home with a brain tumor that’s slowly sapping his once-keen mind of all memories. But when an ice cold serial killer case from out of his past rears its head, John must call on all his remaining memories in order to stop a killer that only he still believes really exists!

You Won’t Feel A Thing reunites modern legends Scott Snyder and iconic artist Jock, the creative team behind Wytches—the most successful and resonant independent horror comic in decades, currently in production as an animated series at Amazon Studios. You Won’t Feel A Thing is edited by DSTLRY Founding Editor Will Dennis, known for his work at Vertigo on such landmark series as Y: The Last ManScalped, and 100 Bullets. Dennis previously worked with Snyder and Jock on DSTLRY’s White Boat and Gone series respectively, as well as Book of Evil for comiXology and Wytches for Image Comics.

You Won’t Feel A Thing #1 is scheduled to release this December. An ashcan preview of the first issue will be available on dstlry.co later this week. 

SDCC 2024: Scott Snyder and Jock reunite for You Won’t Feel a Thing from DSTLRY

DSTLRY has announced You Won’t Feel a Thing, from legends of horror Scott Snyder and Jock. Set to debut this November, the announcement was made at San Diego Comic-Con during the Building New Worlds with DSTLRY panel.

This brutal noir reunites modern legends Scott Snyder and iconic artist Jock, the creative team behind WytchesYou Won’t Feel a Thing is edited by DSTLRY Founding Editor Will Dennis. Dennis previously worked with Snyder and Jock on DSTLRY’s White Boat and Gone, as well as Book of Evil for comiXology and Wytches for Image Comics. 

You Won’t Feel A Thing follows Jack Bernard, an ailing, retired detective whose past comes back to haunt him. Decades ago, Jack was one of the most accomplished homicide detectives on the force, so dedicated that it cost him his family and personal life. Now Bernard wastes away in a retirement home with a brain tumor slowly sapping his mind of all memories. But when a disturbing serial killer case from his past reemerges, Jack must persevere, weaving together his remaining memories to stop a killer that only he believes exists. This sobering murder mystery explores the anguish of a man whose mind has turned against him as the body count threatens to rise.
