White Wolf Appoints Jess Lanzillo as Creative Director for World of Darkness
White Wolf, the official licensing and publishing entity for World of Darkness, announced that the previous VP for Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering, Jess Lanzillo, has joined as Creative Director for World of Darkness. Lanzillo leads IP development for all World of Darkness story worlds, including Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Hunter: The Reckoning, and others. A veteran crafter of world-renowned transmedia brands, Lanzillo joins at a pivotal moment as White Wolf enters its next era of licensing and publishing products.
From her proven creative experience with Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering, Lanzillo understands the power of maintaining a core IP identity while expanding its roots as a horror TTRPG setting. She is also a long-time fan of Vampire: The Masquerade, making her uniquely positioned to understand World of Darkness players and help the brand evolve for modern audiences. With both fandom and franchise expertise, she’s equipped to guide World of Darkness’ growth and expansion with products that consumers crave.



Game developer and publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that they’ve purchased White Wolf Publishing from CCP Games in an all-cash deal. CEO Tobias Sjögren will lead White Wolf Publishing, which will operate as an independent entity with a dedicated team. White Wolf Publishing is a licensing business that owns and manages intellectual properties including World of Darkness, Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse.
