Trajectory, Inc. the leading global network for eBook distribution and book discovery solutions, has reached an agreement with DC Entertainment to expand the comic book publisher’s digital footprint to global eBook retailers and libraries in North America and eventually Europe, Asia, South America and additional international markets.
Starting today, Trajectory has made the DC Entertainment Essential Graphic Novels available on the OverDrive platform including titles such as Batman: The Killing Joke, Wonder Woman Vol. 1: Blood, The Sandman Vol. 1: Preludes & Nocturnes, Preacher Book One and others. New books will continue to be added to the platform on a weekly basis.

The network delivers 300+ international points of distribution representing over 230,000+ digital endpoints including every eBook retailer, library distributor, school distributor, and alternative digital sales channel all from a single point of access. Through this single access point (maintained by Trajectory), publishers can simply upload their files and designate where they would like the digital edition of their titles distributed.
hoopla digital is the category-creating mobile and online service for public libraries and today they have announced the addition of new titles from Valiant Entertainment. With the agreement, hoopla digital’s app and online service adds popular titles —through Valiant Entertainment’s global digital distribution partner Trajectory, Inc.— including the sci-fi superhero epic, X-O Manowar (Vol. 1-8); the pulsating action series, Bloodshot Reborn, (Vol. 1); and the globe-trotting adventure, Archer & Armstrong (Vol. 1-6), to name a few.
Valiant Entertainment titles and more are now available for patrons to access instantly on hoopla digital’s app and online service via their smartphones, tablets and computers.
Inclusion of Valiant Entertainment titles broadens hoopla digital’s catalog of more than 400,000 movies, TV shows, music albums, eBooks, audiobooks and comics. hoopla digital partners with public libraries across North America to provide patrons with online and mobile access to dynamic digital content. The service’s catalogue already includes titles from DC Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, BOOM! Comics and more.
hoopla digital’s innovative Action View creates one-of-a-kind immersive digital reading by allowing for full page and panel-by-panel views of comics and illustrations.
There is no waiting to borrow titles on hoopla digital since on-demand content can be enjoyed by multiple patrons simultaneously. Patrons who use hoopla digital also avoid library late fees as digital content borrowing periods simply expire without charges.
hoopla digital has partnerships with more than 860 public library systems across North America including Toronto Public Library, Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Calgary Public Library and The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
New comic books will be added to the service weekly. The service is available only to patrons of participating public libraries.
With the Annual American Library Association Conference going on, Trajectory, Inc. and Image Comics announce a major global digital distribution agreement. The partnership will allow Image Comics to further expand its global digital footprint to libraries in North America and internationally—including the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, India, and South American markets—throughout the Trajectory network.

Diamond Distributors today announced a deal with Trajectory Inc. that would bring “printed comics into digital marketplaces around the world.” Trajectory will produce the digital comics in its Beijing facility and distribute the digital editions through eBook retailers, libraries, and school distributors on six continents.
Trajectory allows publishers to upload their files, and designate where they would like their digital comics distributed.
This is the second time Diamond has dipped their toes into the digital comics market. In 2012, Diamond launched Diamond Digital, a platform they launched with iVerse Media. That service closed down about two years later.
