SDCC 2026: KAYOU Makes its Convention Debut

Kayou SDCC

KAYOU, China’s No. 1 collectibles company and one of the world’s fastest-growing collectible trading card brands, will introduce its newest slate of officially licensed trading cards to superfans during its San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) debut, from July 23 to 26, 2026.

Fueled by its mission to be “Here for the Superfans,” the trading card giant will celebrate through a series of fan-first experiences across San Diego, giving fans new ways to connect with the stories, characters, and communities behind their favorite fandoms – on the show floor and beyond the San Diego Convention Center.

Credentialed San Diego Comic-Con attendees can shop the KAYOU collection at its feature shop inside the San Diego Convention Center, created in partnership with The Shumi Company (Booth #4934).

KAYOU’s fan experience destination will be inside the Interactive Zone at Petco Park (Lexus Premier Parking Lot). There, anyone can step inside The KAYOU Walls of Fandom, a free walk-through experience that brings the worlds behind KAYOU’s most beloved cards to life. Featuring larger-than-life installations, themed wall displays and product showcases inspired by Netflix’s KPop Demon HuntersMY LITTLE PONYNARUTO, and tokidoki, visitors will journey through a series of immersive experiences that transform iconic fandoms into unforgettable photo moments.

Throughout the experience, guests can get up close and personal with actual KAYOU cards showcased within each installation, revealing the illustration, design, foiling, and craftsmanship that makes every trading card a collectible piece of art. Designed for collectors and fans alike, The KAYOU Walls of Fandom offers a new way to experience the creativity behind the cards while celebrating the stories, characters, and communities that inspire them.

Visitors at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park can also purchase KAYOU cards onsite, making it easy to build or expand their trading card collections.

KAYOU will host additional fan meetups and trading events offsite at Tito Rick’s Garage (2918 Imperial Ave), creating a local community hub where SDCC attendees, fans, and collectors can gather to meet fellow enthusiasts, socialize, trade cards, learn to play its MY LITTLE PONY Trading Card Game (TCG), and celebrate their favorite fandoms.

Fans can also pick up a SDCC-exclusive KAYOU Superfan Passport at any of the three locations to map their next stop, collect passport stamps, and earn rewards. Available while supplies last.

Boglins are a series of toy puppets co-created by Tim Clarke, Maureen Trotto, and Larry Mass and distributed by Mattel starting in 1987 and now available by TriAction Toys. They were released to coincide with the “creature craze” started by films such as Ghoulies, Critters, and Gremlins. Boglins are goblin-themed hand puppets made of flexible rubber that you could make look like they were speaking and having facial expressions. The line consisted of small and large sizes and later in the line they included aquatic, Halloween, and baby themes. The original run went until 1994.
