Hot Toys reveals a Star Wars Stormtrooper TK series figure!

Hot Toys has returned to their fan-favorite Television Masterpiece line with a new Star Wars action figure celebrating an early Imperial Stormtrooper – the TK series! As the Galactic Republic gives way to the Galactic Empire in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, a new generation of soldiers emerges to enforce the Emperor’s will across the galaxy. Among the earliest iterations of these menacing soldiers are the TK Stormtroopers, fresh recruits trained to replace the now fading Clone Trooper army…

The TK Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, with its distinctive white armor, draws inspiration from this early Imperial design, and represents a pivotal moment in the evolution of the Empire.

The TK Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a newly crafted helmeted head, TK trooper armor, fabric undersuit, a utility belt, and boots — all painstakingly weathered to authentically recreate the worn, early-era aesthetic seen in the hit TV show, The Bad Batch.

The TK Stormtrooper is armed with a DC-15A blaster carbine and a DC-15A blaster rifle with a newly developed scope. Accessories include six interchangeable gloved hands (including relaxed, blaster-holding, index-pointing, and opened gesture hands), a magnetically attachable thermal detonator, a magnetically attachable breathing device, and a specially designed figure display stand.

SPECIAL EDITION

Furthermore, collectors who pre-order the Special Edition of the TK Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure will receive additional exclusive accessories – including a pair of goggles and an armored poncho with detachable sleeves!

The TK Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys delivers a faithful representation of this early Imperial trooper, bridging the legacy of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Stormtrooper forces, making it a must-have for Star Wars collectors.

The TK Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Collectible and the Special Edition TK Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Collectible are available to pre-order now.

LEGO Reveals LEGO Smart Play at CES

At CES, LEGO revealed Smart Play, a new tech infused way to play with LEGO. The systems is powered by LEGO Smart Brick, a new type of brick that features a microchip smaller than a stud on the brick.

LEGO Smart Play launches March 1, 2026 starting with a galaxy far, far away and new Star Wars sets.

The system features the LEGO Smart Brick, LEGO Smart Tags, and LEGO Smart Minifigures that interact with each other with sounds, lights, and more.

The new platform features more than twenty patented world-firsts within its technology, and the LEGO SMART Brick – at the heart of the platform – is powered by a custom-made chip, measuring smaller than a standard LEGO stud.

The technology has been developed by the LEGO Group’s Creative Play Lab team to enable responsive physical play, breathing new life into builder’s LEGO creations through advanced, invisible technology.

The LEGO SMART Brick is packed with technologies that bring play to life including sensors, accelerometers, light sensing and a sound sensor as well as a miniature speaker driven by an onboard synthesiser, and much more, in addition to easy wireless charging.

LEGO SMART Tags and LEGO SMART Minifigures are paired with the LEGO SMART Brick to power the system and allow builders’ creations to become interactive, responding to actions with appropriate sounds and behaviors, allowing for a truly responsive play experience. All elements are compatible with the existing LEGO System-in-Play.

The system debuts with three “All-In-One” LEGO Star Wars sets.
