The 2000 AD and Treasury of British Comics Annuals Return!

Judge Dredd: Rend & Tear with Tooth & Claw Arrives in 2026!

Out of fuel, out of bullets, and out of hope… Judge Dredd is going to have to tame the wilderness of nuclear winter in order to survive! 

Bringing together two pulse-pounding stories into one hard-hitting collection, the latest addition to the staggering Judge Dredd range arrives next February in the form of Judge Dredd: Rend & Tear with Tooth & ClawWritten by Rob Williams and penciled by RM Guera, this collection smashes two chase stories together to explore the primal impulses which power the Lawman of the Future ever-forward.

Kicking off this 128-page collection, in Rend & Tear with Tooth & Claw Dredd finds himself stranded with a small team after his jet crashes into the middle of the snowy wilderness, the heart of the Northern Radlands. With a dwindling team around and fewer resources, he has to team up with the rookie Cadet Moon if he’s any hope of escaping back to Mega-City One! But the wilderness is unforgiving, and the bloody wreckage has attracted the attention of an alpha-hunter: a gigantic bear hungry for Dredd’s blood!

Then, Tunnels sets Dredd in the role of hunter, as he engages in a desperate manhunt to bring down a killer! Tracking his quarry to future-Rio, Ciudad Barranquilla, Dredd will have to navigate the concrete jungles of the dystopian city as well as the literal jungles surrounding the city if he’s going to bring down his target and bring down the full justice of the law!

Steve Ekstrom Joins Behemoth as new Editorial Director

Behemoth Comics has announced the addition of comic book creator Steve Ekstrom to their company as the new Editorial Director.

Ekstrom’s role will primarily focus on the development of new creator-owned content with Behemoth’s Publisher, Nathan Yocum. Ekstrom will have expanded creative roles on several licensed projects connected to recent popular horror and sci-fi films as well as developing branded content for some popular projects featured on Netflix. Ekstrom is also spearheading the development of a direct-to-digital imprint, D2D, with the launch of a digital anthology in late 2021 sold exclusively by Behemoth on Comixology.

Steve Ekstrom is an award-winning writer and accomplished indie comics writer, letterer, editor and publisher with various credits at DC Comics, Image Comics, Top Shelf Publications, Pilot Studios, Imminent Press, Tin Star Studios and 803 Studios.

Ekstrom and Vanja Miskovic recently signed a creator-owned deal with Behemoth for the Serbian crime comic, SOKO, with artist Antonio Fuso, and colorist Stefano Simeone. SOKO #1 will launch in November 2021 with a cover by RM Guera.
