Ripcord #3 continues the gritty revenge story vibe from the 70s/80s but adds a dose of horror

The search for Dillon’s sister, Janelle, continues as Dillon and Colebee hit the road (loaded up with weapons, of course). They’re hot on the tail of a group of bikers who may have information regarding Janelle’s whereabouts, but the bikers may not give that information up so easily. They’re on their own turf after all.

Have Dillon and Colebee bitten off more than they can chew?

Ripcord #2 nails down the gritty revenge story vibe from the 70s/80s

The more people tell Dillon to turn back, the more convinced she becomes that she is on the right path to finding her sister. The biker gang that attacked her is connected to the source of the Ripcord drug and no amount of amped-up Ripcord addicts will prevent her from taking them down. It’s every woman for herself in this wilderness…which makes her suspicious of the new guy who claims he wants to help her.

Tortured Hearts #1

Ripcord #1 spends the entire issue focusing on proving how badass its main character is

The drug known as “Ripcord” has become the scourge of the world. It’s extremely addictive, and it doesn’t just alter your perception, it fundamentally alters who you are. Ripcord users have their whole bodies taken over by the substance, and it transforms them into mindless, frenzied killers who want nothing but to destroy. This makes every place the drug has grown popular dangerous.

Dillon is one of thousands who has lost a family member to Ripcord, but unlike so many others, she’s going to do something about it. Her sister has gone missing in the Outback, and Dillon is going to stop at nothing—and let nothing stop her—until she brings her home.
