PAC-MAN is celebrating his 45th anniversary with a one-of-a-kind pop-up café experience just steps from the San Diego Comic-Con convention action.
During this year’s Comic-Con, the PAC-MAN Café will be open to the public at 323 Seventh Ave 23 Seventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101 —transforming into a retro-meets-modern gaming hub filled with photo ops, nostalgic arcade games, themed food and drink, and exclusive giveaways.
Prime Video announced during the Gamescom Opening Night Live global livestream, their new adult-animated anthology series: Secret Level, featuring original short stories set within the worlds of some of the most beloved video games. From Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, creators of Love, Death + Robots, comes 15 mind-bending episodes and groundbreaking animation. Secret Level will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide on December 10.
Each episode of Secret Level serves as a gateway to a new adventure, unlocking exciting worlds from beloved gaming classics and highly anticipated new titles. Prepare for an unforgettable journey, where Amazon MGM Studios and gaming’s finest unite in a first-of-its-kind event that brings together more game IP in a single series than has ever been done before. Namco Bandai has announced their special events for San Diego Comic-Con 2012. Activities include an industry-only party, a huge freeplay arcade, an action-packed Saturday panel and a stage throughout the weekend filled with non-stop happenings.
The ShiftyLook Freeplay Arcade boasts Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug and over a dozen other arcade games. Located across the street from the San Diego Convention Center at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quater’s terrace, the arcade will open at 12:00PM daily and close at 6:00PM on Thursday, 10:00PM on Friday and Saturday, and 8:00PM on Sunday.
Kicking-off the convention on Thursday night will be ShiftyLook Presents the Most Retro Comic-Con Party (Ever!), taking over the arcade and entire terrace of the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, with ShiftyLook partners, press and comic creators present for a night of festivities.
