Writer Rich Douek Joins Jed MacKay for Next Arc in Magic #21

Studios has released a first look at Magic #21, the next issue from acclaimed comics writer Jed MacKay and Rich Douek, artists Ig Guara, Jacques Salomon, and Alberto Locatelli, colorists Arianna Consonni of Arancia Studio, Natalia Nesterenko, and Francesco Segala, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, about a series of mysteries plaguing fan-favorite planeswalkers all over the Multiverse, available on December 7, 2022.

While our planeswalker heroes enjoy a time of relative peace and happiness that they (and readers!) have thirsted for, threats from their past refuse to rest… With a villain ready to pull at the seams of the Multiverse, will a wildcard planeswalker reentering the story help Jace, Vraska, Ral, Kaya, Niko, Chandra, Garruk, and Liliana, or is chaos in store? Available on April 6, 2022.

Toba and his friends have split up. He’s entered the Elseverse in search of his father, while the rest of the group works to take down the mind-control device threatening all of Buckhead. But that’s not all they’ll have to contend with… as an ancient power once thought defeated is freed from the Elseverse, spelling almost certain doom for them all!

Studios has revealed the first look at Buckhead #4, the fourth of a five-issue limited series from rising star author Shobo, artist George Kambadais, and letterer Jim Campbell about a Nigerian immigrant family meeting strange new people and dealing with unusual experiences in the mysterious town of Buckhead, USA. Available on March 2, 2022.

Toba and his friends have come up with a plan to save Buckhead — and Toba’s dad. With security at the school tighter than expected, the friends must split up: plunging Toba into the Elseverse, while the rest race to disable the transmitter controlling the town. Even if Toba finds his father, as well as the means to potentially save the town, the battle for Buckhead has only begun…

Available on February 2, 2022.

After Toba is saved from the men in black by the mysterious girl, he notices that she is the only one in town without the mind-controlling tattoo. Together they start piecing together what’s really going on in Buckhead and how it’s all connected to an ancient being of chaos. But to free everyone’s parents and save Buckhead, they must enter the Elseverse, using a device created by Toba’s mom, as long as they can get past the men in black first…
