Sana is a bad-ass operative of the underground organization The Order. She and her longtime comrade, Lukas, have been assigned to Nano, a mega-city run on prison labor and roiling from blackouts. While Lukas is tasked with infiltrating Nanocorp’s secretive research facility, Sana’s mission is something she’s never trained for: playing the doting wife of Lukas’s cover. In her guise as a middle school P.E. teacher, she’s forced to cool her jets and teach 8th graders stretching, while Lukas puts himself in danger. But when the signs are unmistakable and Lukas’s mission is clearly going sideways, Sana can no longer sit on the bench.

Alexandra Grant teams with Matt Kindt and Natacha Bustos for her debut comic series, Nano

Dark Horse Comics presents Nano, a three-issue science-fiction, action-adventure comic series from world-renowned artist Alexandra Grant, NYT bestseller and award-winning author Matt Kindt, and critically acclaimed artist Natacha Bustos. The miniseries is written by Grant and Kindt, illustrated by Bustos, and lettered by Sophia Hilmes. Each issue will be 54 pages and will include cover art by Bustos.

nano Added to Otakon 2019 Guest List

Singer nano, popular both in Japan and internationally, has been officially added to the slate of Otakon 2019 guests.

A Japanese bilingual singer born in New York, nano began sharing English covers of Japanese songs in 2010 on sites such as YouTube and quickly received a positive response from viewers around the world.

In March, 2012, nano made a professional debut with the release of the first album “nanoir,” which ranked 10th in the Daily Oricon Charts on the first day of release.

In 2015, nano’s third studio album, “Rock On,” was released, which reached fourth on the Oricon Daily Charts, creating a big splash in the J-pop scene.

After debuting in 2013, nano held the first live concert, “Remember You Color,” at the Shinkiba Studio Coast, which sold out 2,500 tickets within the first day.

A Zepp Live Tour followed quickly after, and nano has been actively holding concerts both in Japan and internationally.

In 2015, nano’s first concert in Germany and Taiwan took place. In 2018, a sold-out concert of 2,800 people was held in San Jose, America, nano’s first concert back home.

nano continues to reach beyond borders, connecting people around the world through music.

Otakon 2019 will be held July 26-28, 2019 at the Walter Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
