Headlocked Comics teams with Brody King and Daniel Warren Johnson to benefit MIRAC: Minnesota Immigrant Resource Action Committee

Wrestler Brody King and comic writer/artist Daniel Warren Johnson have been vocal through various actions as to where they stand when it comes to ICE and its actions. King wore an iconic t-shirt that stated “Abolish Ice” at an event and Johnson has published art criticizing the government black boot thugs.

Now, King and Johnson are teaming with Headlocked Comics for a variant cover featuring King to help raise money for MIRAC: Minnesota Immigrant Resource Action Committee. Headlocked and King previously raised $4,000 to benefit Local Hearts Foundation.

MIRAC: Minnesota Immigrant Resource Action Committee provides multiple services including food and legal aid to immigrants.

There will be three covers available for Brody’s Tales From the Road story “Hardcore.”

One is a black and white version cover that will also be a limited edition metal version limited to 100 pieces.

The second design features a blood chain that’s also limited to 100 pieces.

All of the variants will be limited to 1 per person and going live on the Headlocked webstore Thursday, January 15. There will also be options for autographs as well as adding on other items, all to maximize the amount donated to charity.

Items will likely ship in mid-March 2026.
