Skybound Reveals Corpse Knight Variant Cover Series by Nimit Malavia

Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics have revealed variant covers from renowned artist Nimit Malavia for Corpse Knight.

The debut issue of the original new series from theteam of writer/co-creator Michael Chaves, artist/co-creator Matthew Roberts, colorist Rico Renzi, and letterer Pat Brosseau, hits comic book shops on April 22, 2026, perfect for fans of White Sky, King Spawn and The Darkness. 

The themed covers by Nimit Malavia each feature a Corpse Knight character framed by stunning stained glass and will be available as 1:25 incentive variants across all six issues of the original new series.  

War ravages France, but a young girl named Foy lives in relative peace with her father… until tragedy strikes. As Foy struggles to fend for herself, she’s granted a miracle—her father returns from the dead to protect her.

Now, they embark on a sacred quest, confronting murderers, wild animals, wandering armies, and black magic plaguing the countryside. As Foy comes face to face with the dark side of miracles and the secrets of the Corpse Knight, she must question if the man by her side has always been a monster…

Universal Monsters: Creature From the Black Lagoon Lives! Resurfaces in New Black & White Edition

Skybound Entertainment and Universal Products & Experiences have announced a remastered release of Universal Monsters: Creature From the Black Lagoon Lives! #1 (of 2), the limited comic book series from writers Dan Watters and Ram V, with art by Matthew Roberts. Rising from the depths, the creators return to present the first two issues of their series in stunning, remastered black and white. 

Originally released as a four-issue limited series, Universal Monsters: Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives! picks up years after the events of the 1954 Universal Pictures’ film. Journalist Kate Marsden hunts for a notorious serial killer in the heart of the Amazon. Hot on the trail of this madman, she soon encounters an unexpected new threat–but is he a friend or foe? Or is he simply…THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON?

Skybound and Image Announce Invincible Month Comics for March 2026

Skybound and Image Comics have announced the slate of comic books included in Invincible Month, a celebration of the best superhero comic in the universe which includes new comics, reprints of the most demanded issues, and all new collections arriving in March 2026. Timed to the debut of season 4 of the hit animated series on Prime Video, Invincible fans can celebrate the comic books that started it all the whole month long.

Jack Griffin Strikes Back in Universal Monsters: The Invisible Man #2 by James Tynion IV and DANI

Skybound Entertainment, Image Comics, and Universal Products & Experiences have revealed interior pages and the slate of variant covers for Universal Monsters: The Invisible Man #2, the next issue of the four-issue limited comic book series from Eisner Award-winning writer James Tynion IV, acclaimed artist DANI, colorist Brad Simpson, and letterer Becca Carey.  

Unraveling the dark origins of the iconic monster in an all-new story, the next chapter of this haunting take on The Invisible Man will be available at comic shops on September 24, 2025.
