A First Look at Ben 10: The Truth is Out There Graphic Novel

BOOM! Studios and Cartoon Network have unveiled a first look at Ben 10: The Truth is Out There, an all-new original graphic novel in comic stores March 20, 2019 and book stores March 26 by Rainbow Award-winning writer CB Lee and artist Lidan Chen with cover by artist Mattia Di Meo. Based on Cartoon Network’s hit series, this is the first in a series of original graphic novels that will anchor BOOM! Studios’ publishing program for the global franchise.

Ben 10 introduces fun loving, 10-year-old, Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max, as they travel the country during summer vacation. Once Ben finds the Omnitrix, a mysterious watch that transforms him into 10 different heroic aliens, a world of extraterrestrial superpowers opens up to him. Ben 10 is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and created and executive produced by Man of Action Entertainment.

Check into the Spooky Camp Midnight in April

CAMP MIDNIGHT

Image Comics has announced that Camp Midnight—the upcoming original graphic novel by Man of Action‘s Steven T. Seagle and New Yorker contributing cartoonist Jason Adam Katzenstein—will be released in April 2016.

Camp Midnight tells the story of reluctant teen camper Skye, who is accidentally sent to the wrong camp for the summer. In an effort to spite her “step monster,” Skye is dead-set on not fitting in. Luckily, that won’t be a problem as everyone at Camp Midnight—with the exception of fellow camper and fast-friend Mia—seems to be a full-fledged monster. Can Skye keep her identity as a human secret until she catches the bus back home? Is all of this a figment of her overactive imagination? And what about Skye’s major crush on a boy who is far (really far) from her usual type?

The graphic novel is a horror comedy about feeling like a weirdo.

Camp Midnight is set to make its splash just in time for Book Expo America, the American Library Association’s Annual Conference in the summer, and of course San Diego Comic-Con.

Camp Midnight is an original, 248 page graphic novel from the Man of Action imprint of Image Comics and will be available in comic book stores on Wednesday, April 6th, and in bookstores on Tuesday, April 14.

A preview of Imperial—A new superhero comedy

Steven T. Seagle teams up with artist Mark Dos Santos for a bromantic comedy with hero chops in Imperial, coming this August from Man of Action and Image Comics. Seagle teases, “It’s a buddy book with serious commitment issues.”

Mark is a couple of weeks out from the biggest day of his life—his wedding day—but then fate steps in and pulls the rug out from under him. He is faced with an impossible choice: Marry the woman who loves, understands, and puts up with his (many) human failings? Or, leave her at the altar in order to take up the helm of the world’s one and only superhero, Imperial? Up until now, there was nothing in Mark’s life to suggest that he was the least bit remarkable, so why would the retiring Imperial choose him to be the protector of all mankind? Why now? And how will learning to shoot laser beams from his eyes impact Mark’s rehearsal dinner schedule? If the choice is superhero cred vs. true love—does Mark disappoint the world… or the woman of his dreams?

Imperial #1 arrives in stores on 8/6 and is available to pre-order with Diamond Code JUN140469.
