The Other/Half #4 throws out teases and misdirection and has us excited for the finale

Ethan is released from jail, but at what cost? Far from the happy reunion Henry hoped for, Ethan feels betrayed and blindsided after learning what Henry did to help free him. Can they rebuild the trust in their relationship as it becomes increasingly clear they both have their own secrets? But only working together do they have any hope of finding the Nobility Diamond and finally clearing Ethan’s name.

The Other/Half #3 does a great job of focusing on Ethan and Henry and their relationship and past

Disaster strikes! The police dragnet has swept up the wrong man as Ethan is arrested for the theft of the nobility diamond. Will Ethan be able to survive without his creature comforts? They don’t serve espresso martinis during breakfast in jail. Henry is willing to go to extreme measures, and to unlikely sources, to seek help in freeing his husband before he is crushed beneath the wheels of justice once and for all. Also in this issue, we learn more about Henry’s life before Ethan through the photographs he has taken with his trusty camera over the years.

The Other/Half #2 is a cute second issue that has us guessing as to who stole the diamond

Who stole the Nobility Diamond? It’s the question on everyone’s mind as this mystery moves to center stage.

Ethan and Henry prepare a wardrobe change to better inhabit their swapped roles and investigate the theft. Can they beat Detective Alice Griner to the punch and unravel this twisted web to discover the truth? Or will the wrong man go down for this daring crime? Whatever happens, there’s one thing that’s guaranteed—Ethan and Henry are going to have a wonderful time chasing down leads, and look fabulous while they investigate.

Both men will have to step out of their comfort zones and into their husbands’ shoes to solve the case!

Ignition Press Debuts Two Cold Opens at its Golden Apple Signing Event

Ignition Press is debuting two new Cold Opens during their Golden Apple signing event on Wednesday, February 18th, kicking off the publisher’s participation in ComicsPRO’s Annual Industry Meeting. Golden Apple Comics will host a cavalcade of Ignition Press creators, meeting fans and signing comics from 11:00am – 1:00pm PST.

Fans attending the event will have the first opportunity to purchase and have their copies of The Other/Half: The Cold Open signed by writer Jim McCann, as well as copies of Everyone Loves a Jewel Thief: The Cold Open signed by co-writer and series artist Aaron Campbell. Each copy features a unique serial number and stock is limited to 100 copies each at the event. Additional copies will be made available concurrently at IgnitionPress.com for fans who cannot attend the event.

Ignition Press’s Cold Open issues act as a standalone entry point for longtime comic fans and new readers alike, featuring an original, self-contained story that introduces the reader to the world, as well as behind-the-scenes material, special sneak peeks, and information on how to get the entire series through traditional retail channels.

In The Other/Half: The Cold Open, get ready to fall in love with odd couple Henry and Ethan’s meet cute.
