Hasbro Unveils New Bumblebee Action Figure Inspired by “Optimus Prime: Awakening”

Hasbro has unveiled the Transformers Studio Series Optimus Prime: Awakening Deluxe Class Bumblebee, inspired by the “Optimus Prime: Awakening” animated short. The new action figure is available for pre-order at Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, Entertainment Earth, Walmart, Target and other participating retailers.

“Optimus Prime: Awakening” is a fully realized, 12-minute animated short designed as a love letter to the Transformers community and the late Peter Cullen, the legendary talent and voice of Optimus Prime. “Optimus Prime: Awakening” builds on the acclaimed storytelling and visuals of The Transformers: The Movie (1986), giving audiences the rare opportunity to experience the iconic cultural moment from the franchise’s past while exploring its future on the big screen. The animated short delivers emotional storytelling, electric action, and new performances by legends Frank Welker as Megatron/Soundwave and Peter Cullen in his final original voice performance as Optimus Prime.

Experience the epic action of the Optimus Prime: Awakening animated short with the Transformers Studio Series Bumblebee action figure. The 4.5-inch figure converts from robot to car mode in 24 steps. Get a first look at Elita Prime’s Fight for Cybertron in Transformers #37

Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro have shared a first look at Transformers #37 from the creative team of writer Robert Kirkman, guest artist Karl Kerschl, colorist Mike Spicer, and letterer Rus Wooton. The new story arc begins with a standalone Elita Prime story in Transformers #37, available in comic book shops on October 14, 2026. 

The price of being Prime! How far will Elita Prime go to win the war on Cybertron? 

In addition to the main cover by artist Jason Howard, the lineup of variant covers for Transformers #37 includes an open-to-order cover B by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer, an open-to-order cover C by David Nakayama, a 1:25 incentive variant by Nick Bradshaw and Jim Charalampidis, a 1:50 incentive variant by Ethan Young, a specialty finish cover by David Lafuente, and a blank sketch cover. 

Fans can preview Elita Prime’s next move in the war for Cybertron with this first look at the upcoming issue.

The brand-new 12-minute animated short will debut exclusively in theaters after The Transformers: The Movie, returning for its 40th anniversary beginning September 17. Featuring Frank Welker as Megatron and Soundwave and the late Peter Cullen in his final performance as Optimus Prime, this animated short brings a new chapter of Transformers storytelling to the big screen.

Beyblade and the NFL team up for Collab Tops
