Gingerdead Man Meets Evil Bong Volume 1: A Killer Tale of Murder, Cookies, and Mayhem!

Return to the Full Moon film universe with this latest comic book tie-in. It’s the battle of the century when the soul of a serial killer in the body of a cookie goes to war with a cursed and wicked artifact intent on smoking out the world! It’s the Gingerdead Man versus Eebee the Evil Bong, in an adventure that spans the universe, from Earth to Bong World to the mysterious Planet Kush!

To make matters even worse, the evil Synthia has returned with her VHS Misfits, a group of cyborgs compiled from Gingerdead Man’s previous victims! Now it’s up to Eebee and Lana the shopkeeper to roll up their problems and smoke out the truth!

Palmiotti and Gray headline Full Moon Presents from Action Lab: Danger Zone!

Action Lab Entertainment has a hit with Charles Band’s Puppet Master, the horror comic book series based on the popular film series from Full Moon Entertainment. Now the publisher is proud to announce they will be bringing another one of the studio’s classic film series to the comic world with Trancers, as part of their brand new comics line, Full Moon Presents.

Written by legendary creators Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti and based on the cult film series starring Tim Thomerson and Academy Award winner Helen Hunt, Trancers is the story of decorated Police Trooper Jack Deth. A cop from the far flung future of the year 2247, Jack must travel back to 1985 Los Angles on a one-way mission to capture a fugitive with the power to transform ordinary people into psychotic killing machines.

With Trancers, Gray and Palmiotti break ground on the Full Moon Presents line of comics, featuring an all-star creator line-up including Tim Seeley, Brockton McKinney, Dan Mendoza, and Puppet Master-mind Shawn Gabborin.

The first issue will feature a variant cover by Amanda Conner. Full Moon Presents: Trancers #1 is scheduled for an October 2015 release. Additional Full Moon Presents titles featuring the works of legendary writer/director Charles Band, Peter David, and David Goyer showcasing more of the studio’s cult and modern classics will follow from Action Lab: Danger Zone in 2016!

Action Lab: Danger Zone releases 24 Puppet Master covers!

With the release of the all new Charles Band’s Puppet Master a mere few weeks away, Action Lab: Danger Zone has released a look at all 24 Limited edition covers of Issue #1 before its release in April.

The story of Andre Toulon, an elderly puppet maker who discovers an ancient Egyptian potion and uses it to bring his creations to life, Puppet Master is one of the longest running horror film franchises in history. Shawn Gabborin writes the new comic series with art by Michela Da Sacco and Yann Perrelet.

To commemorate the event Action Lab: Danger Zone and Full Moon Entertainment are teaming up with a number of retailer and convention exclusive covers including a Phantom variant, 1up Collectibles, Gamestop, 2nd and Charles, New Dimension Comics, Newbury Comics, Pittsburgh Comics, WV Pop Culture Con and Mile High Comics. These “Movie Poster” covers represent the history of all 10 Puppet Master films.

Full Moon Entertainment, the creators of Puppet Master are offering a series of Fan created exclusive covers featuring artwork by Alberto Silva, Andrew Richmond, Daniel Logan, Steve Doust, and Vasilias Zikos. These covers are available on Full Moon Entertainments website for $13.00 (Unsigned) and $23.00(signed) including shipping.

Along with the standard edition cover by series artists Da Sacco and Perrelet, Action Lab Danger Zone has seven limited variant covers featuring two of the most popular “Puppet Master” puppets, Pinhead and Blade with photo covers, sketch variant covers and a Comics Pro exclusive “Blade” sketch cover. They’re also releasing a convention exclusive “movie poster” cover by Greymatter Art, the popular New York based limited edition, studio licensed film and entertainment poster company making Puppet Master #1 an event not to be missed.
