SDCC 2019: Mondo Unleashes Mondoids Series 1 Vinyl Figures with a SDCC Mondoid Venom Variant

Mondo has announced the Series 1 lineup for Mondoids, a new line of designer vinyl figures that feature uniquely freaky takes on sci-fi, horror, and comic book icons. Designed by Scarecrow Oven, each Mondoid features a removable head that can be mixed and matched with most other Mondoids figures bases. Mondoids Series 1 includes the Marvel – Venom (regular and SDCC exclusive variant), Marvel – Green Goblin, Gremlins – Melting Stripe, Fallout – Vault Boy, Friday the 13th – Jason Voorhees (regular and Mondo webstore exclusive variant), Jurassic Park – Raptor, and a super-sized Jurassic Park – T-Rex Mega Mondoid.

Mondoids Series 1 will go on sale at mondotees.com today, Tuesday, July 9. The SDCC exclusive Venom Mondoid variant will be available at the Mondo booth #435 at San Diego Comic-Con beginning Wednesday, July 17 (SDCC Preview Night).

For (and From) Friday the 13th, Jason Joins the One:12 Collective

Campers beware! Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th Part 3 joins the One:12 Collective.

The One:12 Collective Jason Voorhees figure includes two menacingly detailed head portraits and two removable hockey masks. Jason’s axe accessory fits neatly into the gash on his wounded head as well as the crack in his hockey mask, recreating the iconic finale from Friday The 13th Part 3. The infamous Crystal Lake killer is outfitted authentically from the film. Jason comes complete with every weapon he used in the film: an axe, a machete, a cleaver, a wrench, a fireplace poker, a knife, and a spear gun.

Having recovered from the events of Friday The 13th Part 2, Jason Voorhees relocates to the Higgins Haven campsite where a group of unsuspecting teenagers are enjoying an amiable weekend – that is, until Jason shows up and continues his deadly rampage.

Sideshow Collectibles Jason Premium Format Figure

Sideshow Collectibles has released a new Jason figure based on Friday the 13th Part III.

The cold-blooded killer of Crystal Lake is on the loose once again wearing his signature hockey mask and wielding a blood-soaked machete. The figure is displayed on a base decorated with effigies of his teenage victims hidden among gnarled branches.

This exclusive version includes, additional swap-out unmasked portrait and swap-out right hand with Harpoon gun.

The figure retails for $469.99 and can be purchased with a payment plan for as little as $52.87 per month.

SDCC 2013: NECA Announces Exclusives Line-Up

National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA) today announced their San Diego Comic-Con 2013 exclusive merchandise line-up, available directly at the show with limited quantities available online July 17-21.

Four limited-quantity convention exclusives, created just for the event, have been revealed and include:

  • KICK-ASS 2 “Betsy Ross” Axe Handle Prop Replica – Modeled directly on the prop used by Colonel Stars & Stripes in the upcoming film, KICK-ASS 2. The exclusive will be available for $50, while supplies last.
  • KICK-ASS 2 Series 1 Action Figures – The Series 1 Action Figure set includes Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl and villainous The Motherf*cker with exclusive, uncensored packaging. The set will be available for $75, while supplies last.
  • Albino PREDATOR Action Figure – As seen in the classic fan film “Dead End,” the 7″ Albino Predator features more than 25 points of articulation, including ball-jointed hips and double knee joints. Complete with exclusive albino paint and tribal deco, the Albino Predator will be available for $25, while supplies last.
  • FRIDAY THE 13TH  Video Game Jason Voorhees Figure – Based on the 1989 video game, the 7″ Video Game Jason Voorhees is complete with glowing hands, feet, mask and weapons. Comes in special game-style packaging and will be available for $25, while supplies last.

Fans who are unable to make it to the show can visit NECAClub.com, where a very limited quantity of show exclusives will be made available at various times daily throughout the show, July 17-21. European fans can obtain the exclusives at Loudclothing.com.
