In the waning days of the war, a small force of American soldiers is tasked with defending Castle Itter from hundreds of SS troops. The German soldiers inside the castle cast their fate with the Americans. The only battle of the war in which Americans and Germans fought side by side.

Dog Tag #4 is the best issue so far in the series and feels like more classic Marl Russell

As Tom’s unit pushes into Germany, they confront another problem: the SS loyalty police left behind to prevent locals from surrendering to American forces. Tom has to play detective to uncover all the loyalty police.

Dog Tag #3 is the strongest issue so far with a tense story full of action and emotion
