Wizkids has released their latest set for their popular game Dice Masters, War of Light.

DC Comics Dice Masters: War of Light takes the popular DC Comics storyline War of Light and focuses on that to build out a brand new set. That means lots of Lantern love with each of the Lantern Corps represented (plus some of your favorite non-Lantern characters as Lanterns, just like in the comics)…. even Black Lanterns! But, it’s not just all Lanterns, the Teen Titans are present too!

DC Comics Dice Masters: War of Light, Out Now!

Dice MastersDC Comics Dice Masters: War of Light, the latest expansion for WizKids‘ Dice Masters game is out now. The galaxy-spanning edition of the popular tabletop dice-battling game explores the Green Lantern side of the DC universe as well as some popular characters and teams. Players can collect and battle with more than 30 heroes and villains, both old and new! This Dice Masters release includes fan-favorite characters such as Batman, Green Lantern, Sinestro, the Teen Titans, and the Lantern Corps.  Players can also expand their Dice Masters collection with the new themed starter set, playmat, team box, collector’s box and foil packs, each sold separately.

There’s lots of options to build your new collection to start on this game, or expand upon your already existing one.

The DC Dice Masters: War of Light Starter Set ($19.99 USD) includes:

  • 44 Custom Dice
  • 38 Cards
  • 2 Full Color Dice Bags
  • Complete Dice Masters Core Rulebook
  • Fully compatible with other Dice Masters products

The starter set is a great way for individuals looking to start begin. There’s enough for two players to start playing, and it also is a solid way to add dice to your collection. If the pictures are to believed, it looks like Wizkids has upgrade from the generic blue and red dice bags to ones with printed designs.

DC Comics Dice Masters: War of Light is also getting a gravity feed. Each DC Comics Dice Masters: War of Light foil pack contains two cards and two dice that players can add to their DC Dice Masters collection! Each foil pack should retail for $0.99 and for those new to the game, this is the bulk of the way you’ll build your collection. A gravity feed features 90 foil packs.

The DC Comics Dice Masters: War of Light Play Mat displays all of the information one player needs for their Dice Masters game including: life meter, areas for their character cards and dice, areas for Basic Action Cards and dice, and features each of the Dice Masters play areas, color-coded for players’ convenience.

Made from flexible and durable neoprene, the Play Mat measures approximately 24” wide and 13” long and can be easily rolled up for safe transport and storage, or left out to display. The play mat retails for about $19.99.
