Conquer the Battlerealm With Overseer on Marvel Contest of Champions

Break out of the multiverse and become champion with ORIGINAL-character Overseer as he enters The Contest in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions. Here is a quick bio of the character’s in-game story:

A younger version of Maestro from an alternate reality that is equal in every way, except he still maintains his sanity. The Overseer has just started his conquering career and while he isn’t villainous, he’s not quite noble either. He uses Captain America’s shield for defense, and the Silver Surfer board as a giant cleaver, but his most powerful weapon is a copy of the Infinity Gauntlet that holds the Cosmic Cube, which he uses to travel across the Battlerealm looking for conquest.

Mister Negative Enters the Battlerealm

Not all things are as they appear – sometimes, dark forces are lurking in the shadows. QUAKE the very existence of The Battlerealm with Mister Negative as he enters The Contest; Marking the 200th Champion in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions!

After the downfall of his gang the Snakeheads “Martin Li” was captured by the international crime syndicate known as The Maggia and used in the experimentation of a new synthetic drug called “D-Lite”. Surviving the experiments and escaping his captors Li developed super-powers giving him the ability to tap into the Lightforce and Darkforce. Dedicating himself to become Chinatown’s Kingpin of Crime, Li deemed himself “Mister Negative”, swinging between good and evil without remorse with the ultimate goal of erasing the Maggia for what it did to him.

The “King” of Stagger, Mangog, Enters the Battlerealm in Marvel Contest of Champions

He was built to withstand the sheer might of the Asgardian gods themselves. Become Champion with the “King” of Stagger as Mangog enters The Contest in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions. Here is a quick bio of the character’s in-game story:

Mangog is the physical manifestation and sum total of the hatred of a billion billion beings from a race that was imprisoned through a mystical spell by Odin and the Norse Gods. Mangog is physically unstoppable and nearly indestructible while he’s able to feed on psychic energies such as hate, fear, and devotion. He has claimed he will always exist so long as there is hatred in the world.

Check Out the New Marvel Contest of Champions Motion Comic Penned by Marvel Comic Writer Jason Aaron

The mobile game company Kabam and Marvel have unveiled an exclusive motion comic – “Sins of The Father” – by Marvel comic writer Jason Aaron, best known for the Thor and Avengers series, for one of Marvel’s ongoing series on popular mobile fighter MARVEL Contest of Champions’. MARVEL Contest of Champions’ all-new motion comic also teases two new Champions – Odin and Mangog – coming to the game this March! Here is a quick look at what the Contest has in store this month:

He goes by many names and designations. The All-Father. Ruler of the Nine Realms. You may refer to him as Odin, and he has arrived in The Contest! 

To celebrate, he and the residents of Asgard hold a tournament to assess his people’s strength. While the competition carries on, the sound of the Eternity Alarm rings across The Battlerealm, drawing Odin’s attention away from the tournament! The All-Father must rush to the abandoned palace of Asgard to stall the rampage of an ancient and powerful foe, the hate-fueled Mangog! Will Odin find redemption, or will he succumb to his past sins?

Super-Skrull Enters the Battlerealm in Marvel Contest of Champions

Imbued with the powers of the Fantastic Four, he isn’t a Cosmic Champion to trifle with. Battle with Super-Skrull as he enters The Contest in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions.

K’Lrt was a highly decorated soldier of the Super-Skrull Empire. But when the Super-Skrull invasion of Earth was thwarted by the Fantastic Four, he was made into Super-Skrull. The first and the greatest of the Super-Skrulls, he was imbued with all the powers of the Fantastic Four. When charged by cosmic power beamed directly into his body from the Super-Skrull homeworld, he becomes even more powerful than those whose powers he mimics. Nothing can stop him, and he shall make the Earth pay for what it has done to his people!

Psycho-Man is a genius scientist and ruler of a technocratic system of worlds in the Microverse. Obsessed with conquering the normal-sized universe, he crafted a mechanical exoskeleton so he could interact with things not on a microscopic scale. He carries with him the Control Box, a device capable of creating and controlling the emotions of anyone he chooses, especially feelings of Hate, Fear, and Doubt.

Gamma Threat Detected – Incoming Transmission from Marvel Contest of Champions

The Contest continues as Kabam debuted an all-new motion comic teasing two new Champions coming to the popular mobile fighter MARVEL Contest of Champions – Immortal Hulk and Immortal Abomination! Here is a quick look at what the Contest has in store this month:

In this extraordinary Event Quest written by the author of The Immortal Hulk series and friend of the Contest, Al Ewing, Summoners find that The Incredible Hulk has been murdered! At the crime scene, Iron Man and Black Widow find a single perfectly crafted arrow designed to put him down. Only one man could have made that shot, but when questioned, Clint Barton reveals that Bruce Banner asked him to do it… Hawkeye says that Bruce was afraid of what he may become and brought up a Green Door he saw after fighting battles where he should have perished. 

When Black Widow and Iron Man check on the Hulk’s body, he’s gone…which was the very thing that Hawkeye feared. Where has Bruce Banner gone and what was he so afraid of? What is the Green Door? Find out the answers to these questions and more in this month’s event Quest, The Immortal Hulk!

Marvel Contest of Champions Summoner’s Choice Fan Vote – Choose Your Champion!

For the first time ever, the popular mobile fighter Marvel Contest of Champions is putting the power in player’s hands with Kabam’s official Summoner’s Choice Champion Vote! 

Starting on November 9th, the MCoC community will be given the mighty task to select, campaign for, and cheer on a new Champion from eight possible candidates! At the end of the voting period, the winning Champion will be unveiled on December 10th as part of Marvel Contest of Champions’ sensational sixth-anniversary celebration!

Fans will be able to vote for one of these iconic Marvel characters to be eligible to join The Battlerealm in 2021:

The first round of voting starts Nov. 9-13 with each round closing votes by 10 a.m. PT. Fans are also encouraged to campaign for their favorite Champion on social media with the hashtag #MCOCSummonersChoice. More details below:

    • The 4 Champions who earn the most votes will move onto the next round
  • The Fabulous 4 – November 16 – November 20, 2020
    • The 2 Champions who earn the most votes will move onto the final round

    • The winning Champion will be crafted into a playable character in 2021

GET IN, WE’RE GOING TIME-TRAVELING! The Contest continues as Kabam debuted an all-new motion comic teasing two new Champions coming to the popular mobile fighter MARVEL Contest of Champions– Cosmic Ghost Rider and Red Goblin! Here is a quick look at what the Contest has in store this month:

Several time anomalies have been detected on the far reaches of The Battlerealm. As concerning as numerous temporal activities in one region is, it does not appear to affect the mysterious characters running amok in the nearby area. 

Reports state that “The Rider” has been sighted in the region after tracking down a seemingly abandoned warehouse filled with countless Crystals. As great of a find as this is, caution is urged, as there is very likely a sinister reason why the Crystals were abandoned in the first place…

Hop in and get ready for a turbulent ride through The Contest as Cosmic Ghost Rider and Red Goblin fight for, about & through time itself in this month’s Event Quest; Recursion!

Create Chaos with Apocalypse on Marvel Contest of Champions

The Rise of X has begun and after a long slumber, he’s back stronger than ever. Claim your destiny, dominate and become Champion with Apocalypse as he makes his way into The Battlerealm in Kabam’s MARVEL Contest of Champions.

Thousands of years ago in ancient Aqaba, the first living being on Earth to express the mutant X-gene was born, given the name “En Sabah Nur” or “The First One”. As he traveled the Earth, En Sabah Nur deemed himself “Apocalypse” convincing ancient civilizations that he was a deity and manipulating them into fighting wars which he justified as stimulating growth, judgment, and destruction. After conquesting the Earth for many millennia Apocalypse used Celestial technology to enter a period of suspended animation for many centuries, awakening in the current age and deciding the Earth is ready for further examination.
