It’s a Zero-Sum Battle for Eternal Life in Eat Your Young

What happens when a 2,000-year-old immortal warlord decides he’s had enough?

Mad Cave Studios unleashes Eat Your Young—a visceral, character-driven blood feud from writer Brian Buccellato and artist Mattia Monaco, with letters by Buddy Beaudoin, and Cover B by Stefano Simeone.

This explosive new six-issue miniseries doesn’t just raise the stakes—it drives them straight through the heart. Eat Your Young blends brutal combat, punk-era flashbacks, Cold War espionage, and raw emotional depth into a genre-smashing epic of family, legacy, and survival. Unflinching and relentless, it’s high-stakes storytelling at its most feral.

Edmund Irons, a 2,000-year-old warlord, names his six-year-old daughter, Elsa, as the next Alpha of his immortal clan. But every hundred years, during a brutal 27-day window known as The Centurium, his children have one chance to rip out his heart and claim the throne — or lose their immortality forever. Now, Edmund’s thirty offspring — an iconic cast of genre archetypes like The Cold War Spy, The Serial Killer, The Vigilante, The Punk Rocker, and The Billionaire Futurist — turn on their father and each other in a zero-sum battle for eternal life.

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong is getting a sequel!

Monster mayhem stories need sequels with even more destruction! Legendary Comics has released a teaser video announcing Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2! The comic follows up on the hit series co-published with DC released in 2023/204 that ran for seven issues, though initially scheduled for six.

Legendary Comics’ Robert Napton and writer Brian Buccellato were on hand at New York Comic Con to discuss the incredible reception to Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, the first-ever crossover series featuring the Super Heroes of the DC universe and the Titans of Legendary’s Monsterverse. Napton and Buccellato were the ones to break the news to the fans in attendance, revealing plans for a June 2025 sequel series, Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2. The action moves to Legendary’s Monsterverse, as the Super-Villains of the DCU attempt to weaponize the Titans, with the DC Super Heroes in hot pursuit to thwart their plans. Readers will be treated to “titanized” versions of DC Super Heroes, plus the return of Legendary Comics’ Colonel Shaw, and new Titans, including Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra.

The new series will get a release in Spring 2025.
