DC Comics Unveils New Justice League of America Art

On February 20, the DC Universe sees the birth of an all-new team of superheroes, the Justice League of America. Justice League of America #1 hits stands that day from writer Geoff Johns and artist David Finch, and features an unpredictable roster of characters, including Vibe, Catwoman, Steve Trevor, Martian Manhunter, Simon Baz, Stargirl, Katana, Green Arrow and Hawkman.

But how will Justice League of America vary from Justice League?

Writer Johns first focused on if the new comic would have it’s own point of view and its own purpose. He sees the Justice League as the A-list and the Justice League of America as a team built with potential instead. He looks at it in a similar task in his inclusion of Aquaman in Justice League, people will go in with certain preconceptions, and Johns want to do for this team what he did with Aquaman.

The comic has its own big storyline and its own big world and delves into a darker corner of the DC Universe that we have yet to explore.Johns also teased the team will play a big role in Trinity War, but a big role in the DC Universe after that as well.
