The latest Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer highlights the X-Men

Marvel Studios has dropped a new teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday featuring the X-Men. The teaser gives us a voice over as it shows off a dilapidated Xavier school eventually showing Professor X and a ragged Magneto and ends with Cyclops firing his optic blasts with Sentinels surrounding him.

The highly anticipated film not only includes the Marvel Cinematic Universe but also X-Men universe as well. The two franchises have slowly bled together in various ways in recent years with mutants expected to eventually making their way into the MCU.

Paying For It, based on Chester Brown’s graphic novel, Comes to Theaters January 30

Chester, a cartoonist, and Sonny, a TV host – are a long-term, committed romantic couple. When Sonny introduces the idea of opening up their relationship, Chester begins sleeping with sex workers, forcing him to face his issues with intimacy and romance in the process.

Celebrating the vibrant underground comic and zine era through the experiences of cartoonist Brown, Paying For It connects the past with the present by bringing together emerging comic actors, performance artists, authors, activists and multimedia creators in front of and behind the camera, and it has resonated for festival audiences and critics alike. 

Based on the best-selling graphic novel by acclaimed alternative-cartoonist Chester Brown, Paying For It is a personal take on romance and relationships. From writer/director Sook-Yin Lee the film comes to theaters January 30, 2026.

Supergirl Gets its First Teaser Trailer

Look out. Supergirl lands in theaters June 26.

Supergirl, DC Studios’ newest feature film to hit the big screen, will be in theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures, starring Milly Alcock in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El. Craig Gillespie directs the film from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira.

When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.

Alcock stars alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.

DC Studios heads Peter Safran and James Gunn are producing the film, which is based on characters from DC, Supergirl based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film is executive produced by Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther. Behind the camera, Gillespie is joined by director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designer Anna B. Sheppard, Visual Effects Supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, and composer Ramin Djawadi.

Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires is a bold reimagining of the Batman legend unfolds within the vibrant and fierce culture of 16th century Mesoamerica.

In the time of the Aztec empire, tragedy strikes Yohualli Coatl, a young Aztec boy, when his father is murdered by Spanish conquistadors. Yohualli escapes to Tenochtitlán and trains in the temple of the bat god Tzinacan with his mentor, developing equipment and weaponry to confront the Spanish invasion and avenge his father’s death!

Afterburn gets a Trailer. Based on the comic from Red 5 Comics

After the world was left in ruins, a treasure hunter journeys into chaos to uncover the Mona Lisa and discovers humanity needs a hero more than a masterpiece.

Coming to theaters this September, Red 5  Comics‘ Afterburn stars Dave Bautista and Samuel L. Jackson and directed by J.J. Perry. The movie is based on a comic by the same name.

Ten years after a solar flare wiped out technology across the globe, ex-soldier Jake (Bautista) works as a treasure hunter recovering valuable objects from the old world for powerful clients. His latest mission: team up with freedom fighter Drea to recover the Mona Lisa before an unhinged warlord gets there first.

Afterburn is only in theaters September 19th.

SDCC 2025: Valhalla Entertainment Preemptively Acquires Oni Press’ Yuletide for Feature Film Development

In advance of Comic-Con International 2025 in San Diego, CA, Oni Press and Valhalla Entertainment have announced that Valhalla has preemptively acquired Oni’s upcoming series Yuletide – created by writer George Northy and artist Rachele Aragno – for development as a feature film in advance of the comic book series’ debut in October 2025.

Northy – a writer/producer best known for his work on Charmed for The CW and his recent comics debut as part of Oni’s best-selling EC Comics relaunch – will produce and script the adaptation. Gale Anne Hurd and Phillip Kobylanski will produce for Valhalla, alongside David Steward IIHunter Gorinson, and Jeremy Colfer for Oni Press.
