During San Diego Comic-Con 2026, DC announced two new series, Vixen and Static, during its “DC Next Level” panel. The two series bring two high-profile comics featuring Black leads to DC who has been recently criticized for lacking exactly that.

Vixen will be written by Stephanie Williams with art by Khary Randolph while Static will be written by Cody Ziglar with art by Diego Olortegui.

Neither title has a release date but their announcement is sure to please many.
