The Beauty Gets a New Collected Edition in January 2026 in time for the Television Show
Following news of the official premiere date for Ryan Murphy’s television adaptation of The Beauty on FX and Hulu, Ignition Press has announced the new “beautified” all-market edition of The Beauty Book One from Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley will be released on January 20th, 2026.
This new edition features a fashion magazine-inspired cover from Haun further enhanced with a striking neon fifth color printing process and blind spot UV treatment resulting in the most striking collection of The Beauty to date. The Beauty Book One collects the first eleven issues of the original series with an expanded cover gallery at a value price point, creating a perfect entry point for new readers.
In a culture increasingly obsessed with physical beauty, what if you could be guaranteed a short cut to becoming beautiful? A sexually transmitted disease has started transforming people who catch it, changing their facial features and body types to something more in line with society’s perceived ideal. Those inflicted shed fat, regrow hair, get more defined cheekbones overnight. The only catch? You will have slight, persistent fever. But who cares how you feel when you look so good?
Folks who pursued this alleged perfection are in for a rude awakening. After an indeterminate time with the disease, it has deadly consequences. Looking good on the outside comes at the cost of your insides, as that fever finally burns you from the inside out. For Detectives Vaughn and Foster, investigating the first mysterious deaths of Beauty victims leads them into a dark world they never expected, full of corrupt politicians, murderous federal agents, and a secret society of crooks and killers.
Relive the first spellbinding story arc of The Beauty, as well as a selection of stories that expand the world. This is the first of three all-new editions collecting the entire original series, co-written by series creators Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, with art by Haun, Mike Huddleston, Brett Weldele, and Stephen Green.
