Throughout the weekend, Ignition Press will hold creator signings for Stephanie Williams (Roots of Madness, Nubia) and Jeremy Haun (The Beauty, Murder Podcast). Haun is extending his 11-stop Murder Podcast Killer Signing Spree Tour to conclude at Baltimore Comic-Con, bringing with him limited copies of the Murder Podcast Tour and Secret Variants. The publisher is also excited to share an exhibit floor with other upcoming Ignition Press creators Aaron Campbell (Infidel, John Constantine Hellblazer) and Shawn Martinbrough (Thief of Thieves, Red Hood: The Hill) along with fan-favorite cover artists Becky Cloonan (Deluge), Jae Lee (Arcadia), Tula Lotay (Voyeur), and Declan Shalvey (Deluge).
The publisher will hold their Doing Comics Differently with Ignition Press panel on Friday, October 17th at 4:00pm EST in Room 338, hosted by Ignition Press Publisher Filip Sablik. Fan-favorite storytellers Stephanie Williams (Roots of Madness, Nubia), Aaron Campbell (Infidel, West of Sundown), and Shawn Martinbrough (Thief of Thieves, Red Hood: The Hill) are joined by surprise guests including Ignition Press Creative Director and creator, Jeremy Haun, to reveal details about their upcoming series and why working with Ignition Press really is “doing comics differently.”
Fans can purchase the Ignition Exclusive variant covers for Murder Podcast #1 by Shawn Martinbrough, Voyeur #1 by Tula Lotay, Roots of Madness #1 by Karen Darboe, and Deluge #1 by Declan Shalvey; the Cold Open introductory issue for NO Place and Deluge, with the latter featuring a cover by guest Becky Cloonan; and the Local Comic Shop Day edition of The Beauty: Book One. Fans will also have the opportunity to add limited edition Ignition Press merchandise onto their orders at the show or preorder a copy of Arcadia: The Cold Open and have them shipped to their home address afterwards.
Fans who make a purchase at the booth will receive a coin token for the Ignition Press gachapon machine, which includes prizes ranging from premium vinyl stickers, enamel pins, and even Golden Tickets redeemable for original sketches from Ignition Press artists. Fans can also secure a coin token for free by scanning the QR code featured in the Baltimore Comic-Con program guide! Coin tokens are available while supplies last.
