While serving out a life-debt, Red Sonja uncovers a sinister prophecy of cosmic foulness from beyond the stars. To stop the imminent destruction of the world, the She-Devil with a Sword must trek from the deserts south of Hyrkania all the way to the northern shores of the Vilayet Sea to face down the insidious invaders from Mars — not to mention the serpent-men, metamorlocks, and ancient, angry monster-gods that she meets along the way!

Rising horror comics master JAY STEPHENS (Dwellings, Tales from the Abyss) and Red Sonja/Mars Attacks artist FRAN STRUKAN stir the cross-genre fl avors of retro sci-fi adventure and dark comedy into the cauldron of ancient Hyborian terrors — and the results will have readers crying “ACK ACK!” for more!

Stephens and Strukan’s fevered imaginings are further seasoned by brain-bending new covers from JOSEPH MICHAEL LINSNER, JAE LEE & JUNE CHUNG, and GREG LAND — art that will also be featured on exclusive trading cards polybagged with every copy of Covers A, B, and C!
