Image Comics has announced that Kick-Ass #7 will launch a new story arc for the series and introduce an all-new creative team to the Kick-Ass brand—Steve Niles and Marcelo Frusin—who will succeed original series creators Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.

In Kick-Ass #7—Kick-Ass has wiped out Hoops Lucero and seized control of his criminal operations, but Violencia’s set to bust out of jail and get his bloody revenge on our favorite superhero.

Kick-Ass #7 hits stores on Wednesday, September 19th.
