Titan’s Hard Case Crime Comics Debut at New York Comic Con 2016
Titan Comics has announces that writer Christa Faust, Triggerman co-writer Matz and Hard Case Crime founder Charles Ardai will be unveiling Titan’s new Hard Case Crime comics at New York Comic-Con this October 6 – 9!
Hard Case Crime is the leading publisher of hardboiled crime novels, publishing the giants in the genre: Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Lawrence Block, Mickey Spillane, Ed McBain, Donald E. Westlake, James M. Cain and Max Allan Collins, whose best-selling Quarry series was adapted for TV by Cinemax in September to rave reviews.
An all-new line of crime comics, Titan’s Hard Case Crime kicks off with Peepland – a punky semi-autobiographical 80s neo-noir – from writers Christa Faust, Gary Phillips and artist Andrea Camerini, and Triggerman – an operatic Prohibition era epic – from visionary director of The Warriors, Walter Hill and co-writer Matz, with art from trusted collaborator Jef.
These two comics launching Titan’s Hard Case Crime line will exclusively debut at NYCC with special never-before-released variant covers by Fay Dalton – only available to purchase at the show at Titan booth #2142.
As part of this special NYCC appearance, Peepland writer Christa Faust, Hard Case Crime editor Charles Ardai and Triggerman co-writer Matz will be speaking at an unmissable Livestream interview from 3:15PM on Friday 7 October (at the NYCC Livestream stage), taking attendees exclusively behind-the-scenes of the new series and revealing hot new scoops on the future of the line.
But that’s not all! Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to meet Christa Faust, Matz and Charles Ardai at a special Hard Case Crime signing at 2:30PM at Titan booth #2142 on Saturday 8 October.
