Titan Secures New Editor Lizzie Kaye For European Graphic Novel Line!
Titan Comics has announced top graphic novel editor Lizzie Kaye has joined their team. Previously known for lending her skills to the catalogue of award-winning British publisher SelfMadeHero, Kaye has stepped on-board to lead the charge with Titan Comics’ ambitious new slate of graphic novels being published in English for the first time.
Her experience with literary and translated works marked Kaye out as an editor of excellence, comfortable on the cutting edge of the international comics market.
The key mission statement of this line is to bring the finest examples of Bande dessinée from continental Europe to a brand new audience.
This arm of Titans’ ambitious publishing slate includes Sean Phillips science fiction Void, a brand-new comics adaptation of Michael Moorcock‘s Elric saga, and Snowpiercer, which is now a major motion picture starring Chris Evans.
Both Elric Vol 1: The Ruby Throne and Snowpiercer have been critical and commercial successes, demonstrating the demand for such works.
With new editions of the works of Philippe Druillet, Enki Bilal, and Regis Loisel in the pipeline, as well as gems undiscovered by many American readers, Titan Comics is not only a publishing powerhouse of original home-grown projects, but is also a leading light in delivering works of international and cultural importance.
