The Return of Jean Grey in her Phoenix Duds?
In all of the craziness that was today’s announcement, this one flew under the radar to me until a bit ago. Is that Jean Grey in her Phoenix outfit on the promo image for the newly announced A-Force!? Let the speculation begin!

Note that a lot of the women here are in older costumes. This is part of Secret Wars, an event that will involve a bunch of alternate realities. So Jean Grey’s presence almost certainly means nothing.
It means a whole bunch. Yes Spider-Woman is in her older costume, but then there’s Spider-Gwen. Jean in that costume means a lot for her age and power set. Younger Jean is in the present, but is this her (which indicates something might be up)? Is this the older original returned? It actually could mean a hell of a lot.
It means Jean might make a cameo in the book at some point. Or she might not.
