Fox‘s Gotham has expanded its cast adding Nicholas D’Agosto to the show as Harvey Dent. Dent in traditional Batman lore eventually turns into the criminal Two-Face. D’Agosto will be a recurring cast member this season and could join as a regular in the second season.

For those that don’t know, Dent is an idealistic District Attorney who is disfigured in an attack by the mobster having half his face disfigured and creating and bringing out a split personality. He has appeared not just in comics, but also on the various animated series and in two Batman films.

Also added to the cast is David Zayas who has been cast in the recurring role of mob boss Salvatore Maroni. Maroni is also the man responsible for disfiguring Dent.
