This is a week with a long list of solid comics coming out, but it’s also one dominated by Marvel releases. The Pick of the Week is based off the quality of the previous two issues, Uncanny X-Men #3. The series has been solid, following Cyclops and his band of revolutionaries, the series follows up on the impact of their being the Phoenix Five. With their powers developing in new ways, and the team’s mission of gathering new mutants, the series has an energy and excitement that is a combination of the writing and art. One of the best of the new batch of Marvel comics.

• Batman #18 – With Damian dead, the ramifications are felt as Bruce and his friends mourn the loss.
• Ultimate Comics Wolverine #1 – I’ve loved the Ultimate universe so seeing a new comic added to it is welcomed by me.
• Wolverine #1 – With Savage Wolverine lacking, here’s hoping this one steps up.
• Age of Ultron #2 – The first issue was lots of action and little depth. Here’s hoping we get some more of the background with this issue.
