First Lady Michelle Obama took her daughters this weekend to Broadway to catch some shows, one of which was Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark on Sunday afternoon.

According to ArtsBeat there was a bomb scare, believed to be unrelated to the Obamas’ visit. This led to the questioning of a theatergoer and a search of his bags by the police and Secret Service agents. A spokesman for the production said; nothing suspicious was found.

Mrs. Obama had the prime aisle seat that’s often set aside for celebrities because Spider-Man lands a few feet away during the show. Actor Christopher Tierney was Spider-Man for the show and he dropped down and saluted the First Lady who laughed and waved back.
