Official Press Release

ZENESCOPE OFFERS BRAND NEW GRIMM EXCLUSIVE THROUGH BRIMSTONE #1

Zenescope has announced plans to offer retailers a very limited edition exclusive copy of Grimm Fairy Tales #60 with cover art by Eric Basaldua (EBAS).  The cover art will feature Grimm lead character, Sela Mathers, in risqué burlesque attire. The cover image for this exclusive will be released in early April.

Zenescope will send retailers one free copy of the Grimm Fairy Tales #60 “Brimstone Burlesque” Exclusive for every 20 copies of Brimstone #1 ordered through Diamond Distribution. The Grimm #60 exclusive will be limited to only 250 copies and will be on a first come, first serve basis.  The exclusive will otherwise not be placed on sale to retailers or fans until 45 days from the issue release date and will only be available if copies still remain.

Proof of Diamond purchase by retailers must be supplied to Zenescope’s Sales Manager, Dave Franchini.  Diamond proof of purchase must be submitted to Zenescope no later than April 5th.

Zenescope describes the new Brimstone series as 28 Days Later meets Tombstone.  The supernatural horror comic is penned by Brian McCarthy & Michael Lent with interiors illustration by Hyunsang Michael Cho.  Issue #1 features cover art by superstar artists Ben Templesmith and Greg Horn.

Zenescope Entertainment was founded by Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco in 2005 and has quickly grown into one of the top comic book and graphic novel publishing companies in the world.  Zenescope’s Grimm Fairy Tales and subsequent spinoff series such as Escape From Wonderland, Neverland and The Piper, which put a dark twist on classic fables, are some of the best-selling and longest running original independent comic books on shelves today.   Zenescope’s licensed titles include the on-going, critically acclaimed Charmed series, based off of the long-running popular television series, as well as Se7en and Final Destination, based off of New Line Cinema’s successful film franchises.
