We know our readers are jet-setting world travelers, so we thought we’d give this heads up for those of you that live in, or are traveling to, Jakarta, Indonessia.

As reported in the Jakarta Post today, “comic book fans should add the Indonesian Comic Books Exhibition held in the Education Ministry’s library, Jl. Sudirman, South Jakarta, to their agendas.”

Komik Indonesia Bangkit! or “Arise, Indonesian Comics!” opened this past Wednesday and will be held until Saturday December 11.  It features works from comic book artists from throughout the years.  The exhibit also features workshops for those interested in the entertainment medium as well as the launch from the Indonesian comic series Gina.

I also recommend reading the original article for the rather odd turn half-way through when it starts talking about office workers.  Not quite sure what it even means.
