Unboxing: Dungeons & Dragons: Rise of Tiamat

On November 4, Wizards of the Coast releases the latest adventure for Dungeons & Dragons, the second adventure from the Tyranny of Dragons story arc, The Rise of Tiamat.

Players must advert the cataclysmic return of Tiamat, the five headed evil queen of dragons.

The new adventure hits shelves November 4, and is geared for characters levels 8-15 following the events of Hoard of the Dragon Queen.

Unboxing: Dungeons & Dragons Player’s Handbook and Hoard of the Dragon Queen

Wizards of the Coast has two new releases for Dungeons & Dragons.

The first of three core rulebooks for the fifth edition, the Player’s Handbook contains everything players need to create heroic characters with rich backgrounds and compelling capabilities, ready for adventure.

The first of two adventures in the Tyranny of Dragons storyline, Hoard of the Dragon Queen provides everything a dungeon master needs to create an exciting and memorable experience.

Unboxing: My Little Pony Micro-Fun Pack

IDW Publishing is taking their popular My Little Pony comics and getting them into the mass-market with the My Little Pony Micro-Fun Packs. The four packs measure in at 5.75″ x 3″ and feature Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Applejack of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Each pack comes with a complete 22 page micro-series comic with new content, a two-page My Little Pony playset splash page, removable stickers, a how-to-draw tutorial, stickers, posters and tattoos.

Available November 1 at Walmart, this is a must for My Little Pony fans!

Unboxing: The Official Settlers of Catan Gaming Board

One of the many successful Kickstarter projects, the Settlers of Catan Gaming Board is a great example of solving a problem and building a business on that. With the project completing its funding in November of 2012, the boards were to be delivered in June 2013. A slight delay, the boards are finally arriving.

This is just one part of my pledge, while I wait for my Seafarers of Catan board to arrive as well.

Unboxing: Dungeons & Dragons The Sundering Gen Con Invite

For our first unboxing video ever, and it might be hard to top, the mystery item delivered to our HQ wasn’t a comic, toy, movie or severed head, but an invite to join the Dungeons & Dragons team at Gen Con to chat The Sundering, their next major event. With Gen Con less than a week away plans and invites are coming in fast and furious but we’ve never received an invite that was so cool.
