Netflix signs deals with Mattel and Hasbro for KPop Demon Hunters Toy Partnerships

Netflix has announced that Mattel and Hasbro have each been named a global co-master toy licensee for KPop Demon Hunters. These licensing deals will help meet the massive fan demand to has been steady as the film has become a worldwide hit and little official product has been released when it comes to toys and games.

KPop Demon Hunters was released June 2025, the film and the soundtrack have gone up, up, up on the charts to claim #1 most popular film of all time on Netflix with more than 325 million views globally over 91 days, and #1 album on Billboard’s 200 Albums chart, reaching 8.3B streams worldwide. Fan love has made the film’s single “Golden” Billboard Hot 100’s longest-running #1 hit by a girl group released in the 21st century while the film’s characters claimed all five spots of the top five most-searched-for Halloween costumes this year.

Netflix’s combined partnerships with Mattel and Hasbro will introduce a full portfolio of toys, collectibles, games, role-play products and more that will allow fans of all ages to drink up the characters, music, and world of the film in new and fun ways. 

Through the Netflix-Mattel partnership, Mattel will market and develop a full range of KPop Demon Hunters–themed products across multiple categories, including dolls, action figures, accessories, collectibles, playsets, collaborations with co-brands, and more, beginning in 2026 with distribution worldwide. To give fans a first look at Mattel’s offerings, Mattel Creations—the company’s design-driven, direct-to-consumer platform—is introducing a presale three-pack of HUNTR/X dolls. Beginning November 12, 2025, fans will be able to purchase the collection on Mattel Creations, with orders shipping in 2026.

Through the Netflix-Hasbro partnership, Hasbro will bring beloved on-screen moments to fans through products across categories such as special feature plush, youth electronics and role play. Hasbro will be leveraging Hasbro Games, Wizards of the Coast, Nerf, and Furby—introducing a range of toys for fans of all ages.

Products from Mattel and Hasbro will be available at retail beginning spring 2026 through the holiday season of 2026 and beyond.

Hasbro and Netflix are teaming up for Monopoly Deal: KPop Demon Hunters. The game is for 2 to 5 players ages 8 and up and will be out in most retailers January 1, 2026. You can order it from Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more.

The Old Guard 2 gets a trailer and comes to Netlfix July 2

Netflix has released the first official trailer for The Old Guard 2 set to stream on Wednesday, July 2. The Netflix movies adapt the bestselling graphic novel series of the same name by Eisner award winning writer Greg Rucka and critically acclaimed artist Leandro Fernandez and published by Image Comics.

Dark Horse presents Stranger Things: Tales From Hawkins II

In Hawkins, Indiana, nothing is as it seems. Dark Horse Comics and Netflix present new spooky tales featuring some of your favorite characters from Stranger Things in Stranger Things: Tales from Hawkins II! Each issue will be written by New York Times bestselling author Derek Fridolfs, colored by Dan Jackson, and lettered by Nate Piekos. Each issue will be illustrated by a different artist: Sunando C will illustrate issue #1, Bradley Clayton, will illustrate #2, Mack Chater will illustrate #3, and Vincenzo Riccardi will illustrate #4. Issue #1 will also feature cover art by Diego Galindo with variants by Vincenzo Riccardi, Mack Chater, and Ben Turner.

After shaking off a mysterious encounter with a strange “dog” while out at the Drive-In Cinema, Hawkins science teacher Scott Clarke is inspired to teach his students how 3D glasses work; this spirals into theories about alternate dimensions and how they might be perceived. Meanwhile, Dustin keeps secret that the weird “dog” could be nothing other than Dart, his missing pet demodog.

Future issues will also feature stories about Will Byers, Grigori, and the Demogorgon.

Stranger Things: Tales from Hawkins II #1 (of 4) arrives in comic shops on June 25, 2025. It is now available for preorder from your local comic shop for $4.99.
