The Last Ronin, a story focused on the last Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, is a hit comic and it’s getting a figure from NECA available to order now.

In a future NYC far different than the one we know today, a lone surviving Turtle goes on a seemingly hopeless mission to obtain justice for his fallen family and friends. This armored version of The Last Ronin action figure is authentic to the comic book depiction and stands in 7-Inch scale. Includes goggles, grappling hook, tonfa, smoke bomb, sai, katana, bo staff, nunchucks, and interchangeable head and hands. NECA and Target Announce Haulathon

NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association) and Target Corporation have announced Haulathon, the first of its kind global collectors event featuring the best in exclusive figures and never before seen collectibles from NECA, Kidrobot, Chia Pet, and more. This four-week one-of-a-kind global collaboration between NECA and Target Corporation begins March 18 and will be available at Target and Target.com within the US and internationally at Haulathon.com. New products will be available to purchase online every Friday at 8:00am CST.

Haulathon product includes figures and merchandise featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Back to the Future, Gargoyles, Hello Kitty, Elvira, Universal Monsters, Evil Dead, Bob Ross, Gremlins, and more. Haulathon will also feature the exclusive reveal of David Hasselhoff’s Malibu Dave clothing line. There are even more collectibles and figures available including Haulathon Collectible Swag Sets, as well as Kidrobot Phunnys featuring Mickey, Minnie, Kermit and others.

Another Haulathon exclusive are signed variants by Howie Mandel for Gremlins, Cassandra Peterson for Elvira, Ru Paul for Chia Pet and Kevin Eastman for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. TMNT and Universal Monsters Collide with Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from NECA

This spooky season, NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association) has announced a Turtle-tacular new line of 7-inch scale action figures: Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Working closely with Universal Brand Development and Viacom, the figures will pay tribute to the world’s most famous turtles and iconic monsters.

The first figure to be released will be Raphael as Frankenstein’s Monster, coming in early 2022. Subsequent figures set for 2022 will include a full line of TMNT characters inspired by classic icons of horror from Universal Pictures.

Inspired by the silver-screen classic Frankenstein, celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2021, Raphael as Frankenstein’s Monster reimagines the temperamental Turtle as the misunderstood monster. Includes metal chain, interchangeable hands, and two lightning bolt sai. Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening flap featuring a custom illustration. SHIPPING IN JANUARY.

Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo Comes to NECA’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Line

NECA has announced an incredible addition to its bestselling line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures! In partnership with award-winning creator Stan Sakai, NECA has licensed world-famous comic book series Usagi Yojimbo, starring Miyamoto Usagi, who appeared many times in the classic and modern TMNT cartoon series as well as the comic books.

Set in Edo-era Japan, Sakai’s continuing story of the rabbit rōnin (masterless samurai) has drawn praise for its faithful reflection of many aspects of traditional Japanese culture. Since its beginning in 1984,  Sakai has won numerous awards for the series, including the National Cartoonists Society Award, the Parents’ Choice Award, the Harvey Award for Best Cartoonist and over ten Eisner Awards in addition to being inducted into the Eisner Hall of Fame in 2020.

NECA Announces Alien – 7” Scale Action Figure – 40th Anniversary Assortment Wave 4

Released to theaters in 1979, Alien became one of the most successful films of the year and has since grown to be a timeless sci-fi classic. To celebrate the film’s 40th Anniversary, NECA is releasing an ongoing series comprised of new releases all year long, with at least nine different Limited Edition action figures to collect. Each release will be a limited production run, so act quickly!

Wave 4 will include previously released fan favorites Ripley (Compression Suit), Lambert (Compression Suit), and Giger’s Alien, with various upgrades and improvements. Both Ripley & Lambert will feature photoreal facial deco of Sigourney Weaver and Veronica Cartwright! Giger’s Alien features new paint deco based on HR Giger’s original concept artwork.

Each figure will come packaged in a 40th Anniversary Kenner inspired window box to commemorate the occasion.

The figures are expected to be released in May 2021.

It’s the Ultimate Battle Damaged City Hunter Predator in April 2021

30 years after its release, NECA is celebrating Predator 2‘s anniversary with the release of the Ultimate Battle Damaged City Hunter. The figure will be released in April 2021.

The figure stands approximately 8″ tall with over 30 points of articulation and updated paint deco to reflect injuries suffered in his final bout against Lt. Mike Harrigan. Accessories include a detachable severed arm, open and closed smart discs, combi sticks, interchangeable hands, bio mask, and an all-new masked head sculpt.

It comes in collector-friendly window box packaging.

NECA Announces Puppet Master 2 Packs

NECA presents the Ultimate Blade & Torch and Pinhead & Tunneler 2 Packs from the cult series, Puppet Master! They’re scheduled to be released March 2021.

Each figure stands approximately 4.25″ tall, representing the classic look of each puppet, with accessories themed to the character’s appearances across several films in the franchise.

Blade includes interchangeable heads and knives, both with clean and bloody variations. Torch features an articulated jaw and can equip a flame effect for his right arm.

Pinhead includes two interchangeable hands, a fire poker, a vial of rejuvenation liquid, a wrench, and hooks. Tunneler is armed with a grease gun and pickaxe, along with interchangeable heads, hands, and an alternative bloody drill top.

Comes in window box packaging replicating Andre Toulon’s Puppet Case.

Loot Crate Gets a New Owner in NECA

Loot Crate has been struggling having announced that it was looking for a buyer and was declaring chapter 11. The company has announced they have a new name and a new owner.

Loot Crate has been acquired by Money Chest LLC who is majority funded by NECA, the company that owns Kidrobot, WizKids, and more. They are also now “The Loot Company.”

NECA has been creating one-of-a-kind limited edition collectibles for years as well as mass produced toys and collectibles, so they are a solid fit as an owner.

Already, the partnership is bringing benefits as Loot Crate sent an email for a discount on the limited-edition NECA Tech-Shield Batman to subscribers.
