It’s Hero vs. Hero in Civil War Celebration Variant Covers

It’s been 20 years since Marvel Comics pit their most legendary super heroes against each other and asked the question “Whose Side Are You On?” in Civil War! This May, Marvel honors the milestone anniversary of the groundbreaking event with Civil War: Unmasked, a recently announced limited series by Christos Gage and Edgar Salazar revealing all-new stories set during the Civil War era, and new Civil War Celebration Variant Covers.

Drawn by today’s top artists, the new cover collection spotlights epic matchups between both sides of the conflict that tore the super hero community apart! Captain America and Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon sets the stage for the next Avengers epic!

This summer, the Avengers undergo a transformation the likes of which hasn’t been seen since Avengers: Disassembled in Armageddon, a new Marvel Comics event from Chip Zdarsky. The superstar writer is currently laying key groundwork for Armageddon in his acclaimed run of Captain America as well as Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon, a prelude series launching later this month. Fans can see what’s to come in both titles this May, just before Armageddon arrives the following month.

Following Doom’s fall at the end of One World Under Doom, Latveria is on the brink of civil war! In the latest arc of Captain America, Captain America is deployed to prevent the race to control Doom’s kingdom from erupting into a global conflict. As tensions rise, Cap discovers a startling secret about Doom’s legacy and goes head-to-head with the all-new S.H.I.E.L.D. and RED HULK to defend Latveria’s future.

In Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon, an investigation into missing mutants leads Wolverine to Primewarrior, an all-new super soldier program. Teaming up with Dave Colton, a new Captain America introduced in Zdarsky’s run, Wolverine vows to bring Primewarrior down, confronting his own trauma as he faces off against a deadly new Weapon X! And when the pair come across a mysterious “origin box” device originating from another universe, they’ll unleash a power that will change the face of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!

Captain America and Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon continues to Pave the Way for the Next Marvel Epic in April

The road to “Armageddon,” an upcoming Marvel event written by Chip Zdarsky, officially begins this month in Captain America #6, the start of an all-new arc in Zdarsky’s acclaimed run. Zdarsky will also set the stage for the event in Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon, a four-issue prelude series kicking off next month. Both series team Zdarsky up with top artists including Valerio Schiti, Delio Diaz and Frank Alpizar, and Jan Bazaldua on Captain America and Luca Maresca on Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon. Fans can peek ahead at what’s to come in April with the reveal of Captain America #9-10, new parts of the “Armageddon” lead-in arc, and Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon #3.

“Armageddon” picks up in the aftermath of One World Under Doom. Marvel’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Echoes of the Empire Sheds Light on the Land’s New Timeline

Your next visit to Black Spire Outpost may feel different. New updates are coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. Beginning on April 29, the Star Wars-themed land will expand its storytelling timeline to incorporate elements of the original film trilogy including characters like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker as well as new food and merchandise offerings. Marvel Comics will reveal the official story of the Empire and Rebels’ encounter on Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Echoes of the Empire, a tie-in comic series launching in April. The five-issue saga will be written by Ethan Sacks, who penned the Galaxy’s Edge tie-in comic series back when the land first opened in 2019, and drawn by artists Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado.

Armageddon, the next Marvel Comics event, launches this summer, but the exciting stories leading into it are happening right now! Fans can peek ahead at two key Armageddon chapters hitting stands in March with the reveal of Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon #2 and Captain America #8.

Armageddon will be written by writer Chip Zdarsky, who is currently laying pivotal groundwork for the event in his acclaimed Captain America run with artists Valerio Schiti, Delio Diaz, and Frank Alpizar. Zdarsky, along with artist Luca Maresca, will also set up the event in Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon, a four-issue prelude series spinning out of recent developments in Captain America and Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion.

Dark Horse presents the Supercrooks Library Edition

Mark Millar and Leinil Yu’s supervillain heist comic series will be collected in the Supercrooks Library Edition, arriving in July 2026 from Dark Horse. Written by Millar, penciled by Leinil Yu, inked by Gerry Alanguilan, colored by Sunny Gho, and lettered by Clayton Cowles, this hardcover edition will collect all four issues of the supervillain comic series and will feature a cover by Yu.

Why do supervillains always pull jobs in the cities with all the superheroes? The last place you’d want to rob a bank is Metropolis or Gotham, because you’re only going to get caught and tossed in prison. But Europe doesn’t have any superheroes at all. If you’re an American supervillain looking to make a few bucks, there’s worse places than Spain to hang out for a few weeks and get a suntan while you pull a legendary job against one of the greatest criminal minds of all time–who’s retired to the Costa Del Sol and has his loot stored away in a secret location.
