Matthew Rosenberg, Mark Elijah Rosenberg, and Andy Macdonald, team for If Destruction Be Our Lot

Co-writers Mark Elijah Rosenberg and Matthew Rosenberg team up with artist Andy Macdonald, colorist Francesco Segala, and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou for an action-packed, sci-fi adventure in the upcoming If Destruction Be Our Lot. This ongoing thrill-ride is set to launch in May from Image Comics.

The series will also feature eye-popping variant covers by such artistic titans as Jerome Opeña, James Harren, Tradd Moore, and more.

In If Destruction Be Our Lot, humanity is extinct and all that remains are the robots who once helped us. The robots are happier now, doing their work without human interference. But not Abe, a robotic replicant of Abraham Lincoln in search of meaning beyond the daily grind. Abe believes there must be something more out there beyond the edge of the city. After nearly getting killed, he’s determined to wander the Earth until he finds it… or gets recycled trying.

Spider-Man and Superman Join Forces in April and Marvel Has Revealed the Details!

Following last year’s Deadpool/Batman and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, the first-ever Marvel/DC crossover, Marvel and DC unite again this April in Marvel’s Spider-Man/Superman #1! Like last year’s crossover, fans can look forward to a double-dose of history-making comic book storytelling with DC publishing a separate one-shot, Superman/Spider-Man, in March.

The lead story where Spider-Man and Superman join forces will be written by New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer in his first full-length Marvel Comics story, and drawn by one of Marvel’s most acclaimed artists, Pepe Larraz. In addition, the one-shot will feature various bonus stories by a monumental lineup of industry talent, each co-starring Marvel and DC characters, including a few surprises readers will be talking about for the next fifty years!

Here’s what to expect:

  • THWIP, THWIP AND AWAY! Brad Meltzer and Pepe Larraz pit SPIDER-MAN and SUPERMAN against LEX LUTHOR and NORMAN OSBORN as their greatest villains exploit some of their greatest weaknesses!

The Fantastic Four are no match for Doom’s new power in One World Under Doom #2!

Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro have revealed the connecting variant cover series from superstar cover artist David Nakayama for the highly anticipated launch of G.I. JOE. From the chart-topping, acclaimed creative team of writer Joshua Williamson, artist Tom Reilly, and colorist Jordie Bellaire, the history-making comic book series kicks off on Wednesday, November 13

Spanning issues #1-4, Nakayama’s connecting covers showcase a dynamic battle scene featuring the women of G.I. Joe and Cobra.

SDCC 2024: Skybound, Image, and Hasbro reveal an all-new Energon Universe trailer and new G.I. JOE character designs

At the official Energon Universe panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) this weekend, Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro revealed an all-new trailer, covers, and character art from the shared universe in a panel featuring superstars Robert Kirkman, Daniel Warren Johnson, Joshua Williamson, Tom Reilly, and Sean Mackiewicz

The SDCC audience was granted an exclusive debut of the all-new Energon Universe trailer, which showcases just how shared the shared universe is becoming this fall with the introduction of an epic new series. Kirkman and Johnson also revealed upcoming cover art teasing what is to come in the worlds of Void Rivals and TRANSFORMERS, respectively. 

This included the announcement of a historic tenth printing of Void Rivals #1, the issue that kicked off the Energon Universe in June 2023, and has gone on to smash sales records in just over a year. This new printing is certified Skybound Gold to commemorate the rare achievement of a tenth printing and will feature all new covers by top artists in the industry to be announced. 

The Energon Universe will expand with the biggest comic book launch of the decade, introducing a bold new vision of G.I. JOE and Cobra to the Energon Universe, when G.I. JOE #1 debuts on Wednesday, November 13 from the superstar creative team of writer Joshua Williamson, artist Tom Reilly, and colorist Jordie Bellaire.  

At the SDCC panel, Williamson and Reilly also revealed a lineup of characters from the series including Baroness, Cobra Commander, Cover Girl, Destro, Duke, Tomax, and Xamot, and showcased all-new images of both fan-favorite and new characters. New covers to G.I. JOE #1 were also revealed for the first time, from superstar artists including David Finch, Brett Booth, Jerome Opeña, Sozomaika, David Nakayama, and more!  

Skybound is currently running a “Choose Your Side” initiative that offers readers the opportunity to see themselves on the pages of the all-new ongoing series G.I. JOE by publicly declaring their loyalty to either G.I. Joe or Cobra, to be featured alongside other Insiders in the series’ house ads. SDCC 2024: David Maisel, Mythos Studios, and Aspen Comics launch a new universe called Ekos

The Founding Chairman of Marvel Studios David Maisel, his Mythos Studios, and Aspen Comics are launching a new entertainment universe called EKOS, which is inspired by the art and creations of legendary comic artist Michael Turner and writer Geoff Johns. Ekos Volume 1 will be produced by Maisel, with cover art by Joe Quesada (Former Chief Creative Officer and Editor-in-Chief of Marvel) and other superstar artists. The story line of Ekos has been kept under wraps, except for Maisel revealing that, “In a time when there are so many great films exploring the wonder and awe of multiverses and galaxies, Ekos will focus on the wonder and awe of this planet.” 

The Ekos and Aspen team will have a large presence at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, with one of the largest booths, a special panel, and a prominent marketing activation that includes Ekos Volume 1 promotions on the 250+ access scanners around the entire convention. The Ekos and Aspen panel will be hosted on Saturday, July 27th at 1pm PT in Room 4, where fans will receive a sneak peek of the Ekos Universe as well as a free gift. 

Ekos Volume 1 will be collected in three Issues to make up a ~128 pg graphic novel. The project will initially be available exclusively on Kickstarter, with the Kickstarter campaign launching September 10, 2024. The Kickstarter pre-launch page is live where fans can sign up to follow the campaign, be alerted of campaign updates, and receive an exclusive digital print of an homage to Marvel’s Civil War 1 variant cover by Michael Turner, but including the main Ekos characters.

The Ekos Volume 1 Aspen Comics creative team includes colorist Peter Steigerwaldwriter J.T. Krul, and artist Alex Konat. In addition to Joe Quesada, cover artists include Alex Ross, J. Scott Campbell, David Mack, Jerome Opeña, and more.
