Mortal Kombat! Bluefin Brings Storm Collectibes Mortal Kombat Figures to C2E2

Bluefin is heading to Chicago’s premier pop culture and comics convention – Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2).

C2E2 takes place April 6th to April 8th in the South Building at McCormick Place in downtown Chicago. Bluefin will be located in Booth #227.

This year, Bluefin’s presence at the convention will be highlighted by a series of special events celebrating the venerable action property – Mortal Kombat.

Fans are invited to visit the Bluefin booth to meet actor and acclaimed martial arts phenom, Daniel Pesina, who played the original sprite characters of Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Smoke, and Noob Saibot in the world’s most popular videogame franchise, Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II.

A variety of Mortal Kombat collectible action figures by Storm Collectibles will also be available for purchase during C2E2 in Bluefin Booth #227. Special in-booth signings are scheduled where fans can get purchased products signed by Mr. Pesina in addition to photographs being offered at the table.

Scheduled for retail release in the First Quarter of 2019, the sizeable 1/6 scale ECTO-1 joins the family of unique, officially licensed Ghostbusters products available from Blitzway. The iconic car, a customized 1959 Cadillac ambulance, was featured in the blockbuster Ghostbusters movie. A myriad of precisely and exquisitely designed details on the exterior and interior make this item the pinnacle of any ardent fan’s Ghostbusters collection.

Bluefin Releases Power Rangers Megazord & Dragonzord Mini-Pla Kits

Bluefin has announced the release of new Power Rangers Megazord and Dragonzord Super Mini-Pla Kits from Bandai’s Shokugan collections.

Units are now available from authorized Bluefin retailers nationwide and also from select leading online outlets in time for the start of this year’s Holiday Season. Please check your favorite online and/or brick-and-mortar outlet for immediate availability. They are also available from Bluefin’s own on-line store.

The Power Rangers Megazord and Dragonzord Super Mini-Pla Kits from Bandai’s Shokugan collections are fully articulated and faithfully recreate the proportions and details from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series. By combining all 5 Zords from the Megazord kits with the Drangonzord kit, fans can create the all-powerful Mega Dragonzord!

Bluefin will release the Titanus Super Mini-Pla Kit in Spring 2018 as the latest addition to the Bandai Shokugan Power Rangers line.

New York Comic Con 2017: Bluefin Announces Bandai & Bandai Show Exclusives

Bluefin heads to New York Comic Con with a variety of notable show exclusives from Bandai Hobby and Bandai’s Shokugan line.

New York Comic Con takes place October 5th – 8th at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan and is the nation’s biggest pop culture convention. The annual event plays host to the latest and greatest in comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television.

Bandai Hobby NYCC Exclusive

Bluefin is proud to unveil Bandai Hobby’s Perfect Grade 1/72 Scale Millennium Falcon for exclusive purchase at New York Comic Con ahead of its retail release later this year. This stunning release depicts Han Solo’s iconic space ship as it appeared in Star Wars: A New Hope and offers builders the highest quality grade in terms of complexity, features, realism and detail, and includes almost 700 parts. The Bandai Hobby Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon will carry a NYCC MSRP of $400.00.

New High-Detail Superhero Statues Announced By Iron Studios and Bluefin

Bluefin has announced the opening of pre-orders for an artful collection of new releases from Iron Studios.

These latest products include an impressive array of highly-detailed, 1/10 scale statues of popular superhero characters from the Batman: Arkham Knight video game series, the recent Wonder Woman movie, and 5 combinable figures for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that expand Iron Studios’ Battle Diorama line. The first of the new statues is set for release in November with the others scheduled to debut this December.

Transformers’ “Drift” Gets a High Detail Figure By Flame Toys and Bluefin

Bluefin has announced that it has become an official distributor for Hong Kong-based Flame Toys. Bluefin has also announced the opening of pre-orders for the first Flame Toys product – the Drift Transformers figure.

Set for release in January 2018, this extraordinary rendering is officially licensed and depicts the Autobot Drift as he is seen in the beloved IDW Transformers comic book series. The Drift figure represents a pinnacle of collectibles design and stands 8 inches tall and is constructed with high quality die-cast parts with more than 50 jointed linkage articulation features to allow for maximum realistic poseability. This release will be a must-have for any ardent pop culture collector or Transformers fan.

The (non-transforming) Drift figure also features 3 interchangeable facial expressions and contains 6 LED units that provide light-up displays on its body. The figure includes 3 sword weapons and a cape that is accented with bendable wires that allow for dramatic, anime-style windswept poses.

Bluefin Reveals Iron Studios’ Superhero/Supervillian Battle Dioramas

Bluefin has reveled an exciting new series of high-detail Limited Edition products from collectibles brand, Iron Studios, with the forthcoming release of the Battle Diorama Series.

Set to be unveiled for the first time at the San Diego Comic-Con 2017, these Limited Edition 1/10 scale statues depict an array of beloved heroes and supervillains. Bluefin will be located in Booth #401.

Each one is hand-painted and rendered in Polystone and presented on a detailed display base and ready for battle. Combine each 10-inch statue with others in the series to create a kinetic diorama that is sure to become a centerpiece of any fans’ personal collection.

The first statues in the Iron Studios Battle Diorama series will be on prominent display at Bluefin’s booth during SDCC and will include Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Venom, and Carnage! The first of these figures will be available via retail channels beginning in November with additional ones set for release in early 2018.
