We’ve got Batman and Superman who have been turned into Lego, and now Lego turning a live action trailer into Lego, it’s all very meta.
Film Feature has taken the latest trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and created a Lego version of it.
After a pirated copy was released online, Warner Bros. has decided to up the release date of the first teaser trailer for next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Originally it was to debut in theaters on Monday where individuals had to sign up to attend. Director Zack Snyder promises that those that do go will still see something special.
Actor Ben Affleck, who will be donning the cape and cowl as Batman in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, confirmed at a Senate hearing that Senator Patrick Leahy will indeed be in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Affleck is a co-founder of the Eastern Cong Initiative and was testifying before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Diplomacy and National Security about the situation in the Congo (alongside Bill Gates) where he said:
To Senator Leahy, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge my co-star in Batman. The role is marginally smaller than mine but I understand you’re quite good.
Senator Leahy is a diehard Batman fan, and has appeared in numerous films and voiced characters which led some to speculate if he’d be in the latest film to feature the Dark Knight. Leahy is also a vocal proponent for Hollywood (especially when it comes to intellectual property), often fighting their battles for them in the Hill, which calls into question his numerous appearances.

A first look at actor Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor has been released to Entertainment Weekly. The character will appear in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which will hit theaters March 25.
Director Zack Snyder said of the character:
He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure. Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course….Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.

It was announced today that Will Smith will play Deadshot in 2016’s Suicide Squad. Will Smith had a brush-in with another DC alum, Ben Affleck, in a previous film. Affleck who will don the cape and cowl as Batman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

That’d be comic geek Kevin Smith’s Jersey Girl who was at one point attached to write a script for a Superman film, a character Affleck played (as actor George Reeves) in Hollywoodland where he “slept” with Diane Lane who played Superman’s mom in Man of Steel…. Phew….
The President Pro Tempore (pro tem) of the United States Senate Senator Patrick Leahy (D – Vermont) is a long time fan of Batman becoming a fan at a young age. 50 year later the Senator can still quote from the comic books he grew up on. The Senator who has stood up for and fought for Hollywood when it comes to things like intellectual property protection has also appeared in numerous Batman films including standing up to Heath Ledger’s Joker in the Dark Knight. This conflict has raised some questions on Hollywood’s influence on the Senator.
But, with a new film around the corner starring the Dark Knight, will we see Senator Leahy in the film?
“It’s a fascinating movie. It will have superb actors in it,” Leahy told ABC News, stressing the word “superb,” in an interview posted Friday.
“My intuition says you’re in it, so we’ll leave it at that,” correspondent Jeff Zeleny replies to Leahy.
“We’ll leave it at that,” the lawmaker says with a grin.
When the film hits theaters next year keep an eye out for him. In between, we’ll see how many pieces of legislation the Senator pushes for his Hollywood friends.
