SDCC 2015: Diamond Select Toys Offers an Array of Exclusives

Each year, Diamond Select Toys sets up at Comic-Con International in San Diego, ready to show off their upcoming products to the large crowds. And with that many DST fans in one place, they also like to bring new products that will go on sale for the first time ever on the show floor! This year is no different, and DST is ready to reveal the exclusive items that will be available at their booth (#2607), including some that will be offered through other retailers at Comic-Con, and a few that will only be available through DST!

Gotham “Roughed Up” Penguin Exclusive Action Figure

A Diamond Select Toys release! DST is kicking off their highly anticipated Gotham TV Select action figure line with this SDCC exclusive, a “roughed-up” version of Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a. The Penguin! A common look for the frequent snitch and traitor, this battle-damaged Penguin looks like he’s fresh from another power play gone wrong, and is only available at the DST booth. Figure measures approximately 7” tall with 16 points of articulation. Limited to 150 pieces. ($20.00, only at booth #2607)

Gotham Minimates Fateful Meeting Jim Gordon & Bruce Wayne 2-pack

Fashion Spotlight: Get Ready for Ant-Man

Marvel‘s Ant-Man hits theaters July 17, but it’s not too early to begin thinking about being ahead of the cool curve and getting some clothing sporting what will likely be the next big Marvel star.

We checked out Etsy to see some of the unique items you can get now and rock this summer, well ahead of the movie’s debut.

This made to order cotton t-shirt features the helmet that’ll become much more recognizable once the movie debuts. Each tshirt is $22.37.

This handmade necklace features panels from comic books cut-out. A very unique and cool item. They’re currently on sale and start at $11.32.

This yellow crew neck, short sleeve T-Shirt, is made from 100% Pre-Shrunk Cotton and has a soft texture for added comfort. It has a silhouette of Ant-Man centered, and the Avengers ‘A’ logo on the right sleeve. The shirt begins at $20 (some sizes are more) and you can request different colors!

Marvel Launches the First Trailer for Ant-Man

The first full trailer for Marvel‘s Ant-Man has hit the web. The movie comes to theaters July 17.

After seeing this, I have to say, I’m much more excited for this. It looks like a great mix of humor and action, but how this ties into the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe will be an interesting one.
