Man Blames Child-Porn Possession on Comic Books

By Brett Schenker

Michael Cherry of London, Ontario blames comic books, video games, and his computer for his possession of child-porn.  He claims he lived “in a closed box.” According to Cherry:

“I’d work, come home . . . lock myself in my apartment.”

Caught in one of the largest crackdowns of it’s kind, Cherry was arrested for possession and distribution but was aquited of distribution.  He has plead guilty to four charges of possession and awaits sentencing for his crime.

It’s not quite clear how comic books, video games, and his computer are to blame.  Last I checked these were innanimate objects that don’t have the ability to download items off the internet on their own.
